I visited with my family and it did not disappoint. You have to visit the farm if you want the best possible experience. It is in a calm environment. There is a gas station nearby so you don't need to go far to celebrate your stay with special items. This Bed and Breakfast is a great getaway!

What a gem! This b&b is very charming and has been lovingly restored to highlight some of its original beauty. Jeremy was an excellent host, who was friendly and welcoming and who helped us out with some tools when our bicycles got a flat tire. Breakfast was delicious. And the bathroom in the Zen room is palatial and amazing! Will be back!

What a delightful, cozy and delicious visit to the Tiskilwa Inn. It's beautifully renovated historic home that's made so warm and inviting by Jeremy. I traveled a long way to visit and would do it again in a heartbeat. Do something wonderful for yourself and head there!

I cannot write a bad thing about my time at The Tiskilwa Inn. Jeremy and his little furry assistant were so generous with their service and with the quality of the accommodations. Breakfasts were delicious, the coffee bar and drink fridge were extremely helpful after long days outside at Homestead in Princeton. While my tub stopper did not quite work as intended, Jeremy did some jury-rigging to it and we found a way to make it work for a relaxing bath one of the nights I was there. The Alpaca room is adorable and comfortable. Definitely will be back!!

Found this charming B&B while looking for an interesting place to stay 1 night while traveling home from KY. So happy to find the Tiskilwa Inn. Restoration of this beautiful home is a combination of historic and modern without loosing the historic. Jeremy is a wonderful host and breakfast was delicious to add to this wonderful stay. Also enjoyed driving up to Princeton to the Red Covered Bridge and a walk thru the downtown which included a meal at Spoons.Would definitely stay here again when in this area.

Tiskwa Inn is fabulous a wonderful stay!Definitely will be back!We were greeted at the door by our host Jeremy and his cute dog Charlie. The house is simply gorgeous. The bedrooms are warm and welcoming. We stayed in the farmhouse room, I checked out the other rooms, I love their themes. Goegeous refubishing.Jeremy has a lending library books that people one to finish reading or leave one. He knows the building and town history, I loved his stories. The breakfast was perfect and I loved that he had fruit available, coffee, tea, juice, soda (surprise, my favorite v-8!)Definitely a beautiful get away from the ordinary.

We came to the tiskilwa area to visit family and tour the alpaca farm, but we were pleasantly surprised by the Tiskilwa Inn! It is so comfy and cozy with beautiful decor and wonderfully comfortable themed rooms with modern bathrooms! I stayed in the alpaca room with the steam shower! Our host Jeremy was so nice and accommodating, we will definitely be back!

A charming place in a small Illinois town. Well-appointed, well-cared for, worth the price if you're anywhere near the area. Great amenities. Host is very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was a treat. Hope to be nearby to stay again.

My husband and I chose the Tiskilwa Inn for a belated anniversary getaway based on the many positive Tripadvisor reviews. Reviews did not do it justice as our expectations were definitely exceeded. The house has been beautifully restored and decorated. We had the Farmhouse suite on the first floor which was roomy, immaculately clean and very comfortable with a great walk-in shower and double sinks. TV with Netflix was an unexpected bonus as were all the other touches like plushy robes and slippers, deluxe towels, 24-hour coffee bar, etc. But the best was the hospitality. We've met some wonderful hosts staying at B&B's but Jeremy has to rank among the best. He made us feel genuinely welcome, Even came out voluntarily at 5:30 in the morning to help me figure out the Keurig, claiming he always woke up at 5 anyway. The Tiskilwa Inn may be a bit out-of-the-way, but it is well-worth the trip!

I booked this beautiful inn over Memorial Day weekend for out of state family visiting the area for celebrations. From the quaint bedrooms with very up to date private baths, to the cozy fireplace gathering rooms, this immaculate home did NOT disappoint! My family raved of the farm to table breakfast, including the fresh strawberries! When in Bureau County Illinois, do not miss this gem!

My husband and I wanted a quick overnight getaway not too far from home and the Tiskilwa Inn was perfect. The town is extremely small so that could be a drawback for some, but Jeremy was so welcoming and there are plenty of outdoor activities in the area. Next time we will have to visit the alpacas! Thank you, Jeremy! (and Charlie is the bomb diggety!????)
