Always a problem getting prescriptions filled. Went yesterday asked them if they had my prescription in stock they told me yes. Got a call and hour later saying it was out of stock. Went back today to pick up the paper script to take it somewhere else and the girl told me they have it in stock. So not sure why I wasn't notified, or why it wasn't ready to be picked up. I have texts notifications. Never received any. Called right now to be told the pharmacist is bagging it up ( went at at 1:00pm and was told it would be ready in 2 hours) now they close at 5pm and I cannot make it in time to get my script. What a joke.

Shout out to cashier Sara, who is just absolutely miserable. Started off with my three year old trying to talk to her and show her the candy she picked out and Sara looking completely annoyed that a child had the audacity to speak to her. Then when I politely asked her if it was possible to manually enter my ID rather than scanning it (which I had no problem previously doing at this store), she yelled across the store to her almost as equally miserable "manager" Natalia: "Customer is denying us scanning her ID!!!" I never denied you scanning my ID, I asked if it was possible to manually enter the information and stated no one has ever given me trouble in the past. Attitudes all around by these two staff. It's a shame bc I love the photo and pharmacy staff, they are always helpful and enjoyable. Drove down the street to CVS and had great customer service there.

Hate dealing with Walgreens! Went to pick up a prescription today and was told that I would have to wait 20 minutes because the pharmacist was on break and it is required that I speak to them. First, I am unable to find any law that requires me to speak to a pharmacist and Walgreens is unable to provide official .government information. Second, the pharmacist at Walgreens is the last person I would trust to answer a question based on past errors. Walgreens as usual puts customers last.

The pharmacy service used to be amazing, but it seems they have really slipped. I’ve been having a lot of issues with the pharmacy lately (I use it often because I’m a cancer patient so am there often). It’s been happening a lot lately between being over charged by $60 a month for 6 mos on a script that my copay was supposed to $5. I found this out by going to another Walgreens next to the hospital where I receive treatment and my script was $5!!!!!!!!! She said I need to reach out to TP pharmacy and get the info for corporate to reimburse. I reached out and was just shrugged off. I’ll go in in person to handle that since the phone obviously gets you absolutely nowhere. Today I had a script sent there at 11am for being in excruciating pain from 3rd degree burns from radiation; at 2pm they told me it’s be ready at 3:30pm. Here we are at 5pm and it’s still not ready. This isn’t okay. My oncologist even called to let them know how important it was. Not a single care. Definitely looking for a new pharmacy. It’s sad this one has gone so down hill. Absolutely awful service and a rip off. Like cancer isn’t expensive enough, but to get ripped off by the pharmacy is unreal. Thank you to Zion Walgreens for actually charging me the correct price and letting me know I’ve been being overcharged. The pics are for all the same prescription. The $69 were all TP the first $5 was Zion where they caught their mess up.

I have had problems with their Pharmacy for several years. And there seems to be no attempt to improve its management, as the same problems still exist. The latest...4 prescriptions required Doctor authorization for refill. Yet Walgreens sends emails indicating they are seeking authorization for only 2 of the prescriptions. This is the first red flag. Five days later, still no authorization. I called the Doctors office and they informed me they received no requests from Walgreens for authorization. The Doctors office indicated they would submit an approval for the 2 prescriptions, which they did. This is the second red flag. Remember the 2 other prescriptions not requiring authorization from 5-days earlier? Well now Walgreens is attempting to gain authorization for those nearly a week later. This is the third red flag. After logging into my online Walgreens account to assess the status of my prescriptions, it states the service is temporarily down and to try again later. The same message has been seen for many years now. This is the fourth red flag. I am moving my prescriptions to CVS after these refills...enough is enough.

The pharmacy is a disaster. Waited over an hour and still left with half of my prescription. The people are super nice but good God. The lines are always super long and I ended up just putting my stuff back and leaving. I'm not coming back to this location.

I love the location & the store itself has very nice employees. The pharmacy has issues. 2 of my prescriptions were stopped although my physician had just ordered a 6 month supply. This is not the first time this has happened. After several calls, the mixup was rectified. Sometimes they have a hard time finding the prescriptions that are filled. It appears that they are disorganized.

If it was possible to give a "0" star rating, this Walgreens location would earn it... The pharmacist is a crotchety old man that seems bothered if you ask him to do his job... the nerve of some people. I mean who am I to expect him to do what he is being paid for. They also are always out of common items. You're Walgreens, how are you ever out of anything? In summation, I will drive the extra mile to hit my local CVS...

Nice little Walgreens on 171st Street in Tinley Park. They have all the stuff you'd expect to see when you go in a Walgreens...nothing more and nothing less. They have their store-set like all the others, and I guess that is a good thing. Did not use the pharmacy but assume it is up to snuff. This facility was very clean and the staff was helpful and smiley...nice start to any business. The location is not on a busy highway in a shopping area but much more a residential locale, but it seems to work and they are very convenient. Give this place a try.
