Steve at Water Trends on 159th has been a saving grace for us. He was able to get us a replacement part for our pool and a new liner that we were not able to get for the last 16 months. Hats off to Steve! (hopefully the installer keeps his date with us)

This is no longer The Great Escape, but something called Water Trends (pool supplies). They apparently moved to LaGrange Road, but the Google listing has them still at this address, which I only learned when I drove over here.

Great place to get your pool items from. I received nothing but great service from the representatives at that location. FYI - They're a Great Escape Store but goes by Water Trends.

The store was a mess. Only employee sat behind register. Did not thank me at all for my purchase. Other locations like Merrillville Indiana are fantastic. This one in Tinley Park IL was horrible.

The store had everything I need, but the employees are beyond lazy. No one is out on the floor helping anyone, they all hide behind the registers . After checking out the kid asked if I wanted help out. I replied yes. Grabbed a few things are turned around where he was still behind the register doing nothing. Its ok, you look tired, ill drag it all out myself ?

Came here for some pool supplies don't know if the people working were having a bad day but I was trying to ask them some info on some things I needed to open my pool and it seemed like I was bothering them maybe others had a good experience there but I didn't and i won't be back.. rather drive down the street to the one in Lagrange they had better attitudes and were more professional..

Not a bad place for all your pool needs, been going there for the last four years, and I'm very positive it's always been the same guys working there, so they definitely know about pools, beware, there's a very old guy at the counter, not very friendly, and I've never seen him leave his chair, so don't expect the friendliness encounter with him.

We've been waiting for someone to come do our pool, and we've been calling the great escape and the pool company to which no one answers or we get sent straight to voicemail. We were told more than once they would be out here June 1st in the morning. This is very unprofessional.
