By far the BEST greenhouse I have ever found!! From the beginning, I was greeted by a young lady watering the plants, asked if I needed help or if I had any questions. I was later greeted by another woman (I am so sorry I forgot your name) but I let her know, I had just come across them and wanted to see plants. She gave me a tour, give me insight of their business and introduced me to Phil! He was a true pleasure to speak with and get to know. He got to know me and my boys, was able to answer my questions regarding plant care and provided me with so many informative tips and best yet..he was HAPPY to help. When you love what you, it truly shows. I said it yesterday and will say it again. I wish I would have found them sooner. I was able to browse the greenhouses, and I met Cesar; He was also watering another section of the plants, and he too was super friendly. They genuinely care for their plants and what they do. I have nothing but great things to say and I could continue to rave about them. I can't wait to return for their Foliage fest next month. Thank you, guys, for such an amazing, memorial experience. You have a loyal customer!

Went to Ted's and the negative reviews are spot on. I walked through about 5 of the 12 or so greenhouses for 15 minutes. I had questions and not an employee in site. No prices on most items. Disappointing to say the least.

Absolutely love Ted’s! They have a very large variety of plants and flowers to choose from. Just when you think you’ve seen it all there’s a whole other area to explore! Amazing prices for wonderful quality plants. If you’re an indoor collector of plants and rare plants this is a must check it out kind of place. They had many on my wishlist and many others I’ve not seen in person so it was such a great experience from start to finish. I have to also give a shout out to Phil who you will see there, if you don’t see him ask for him! Very knowledgeable and helpful, great guy who’s ready to help you find whatever you may need or answer any questions you might have. Highly highly recommend checking out Ted’s Greenhouse and Phil you won’t be disappointed!

There's literally no place better
Alright so I haven't lived in Illinois for 3 years now, however when I did; Teds was a weekly stop and goodness I miss this place. They were always so incredibly informative, the selection is AMAZING from tropicals to carnivorous to veggies. It's literally to die for and the place is MASSIVE. I'm literally planning out my trip up to Illinois in a few months and I WILL be stopping by Ted's to buy plants and bring home to Georgia - where you'd think we'd have an amazing selection in this subtropic area. Nope. No one has beaten Ted's yet.

Ted’s is hands down the best greenhouse on the south side of chicago. I’m a science teacher, avid plant enthusiast, and a long time customer. Many greenhouses either try or claim to be “the best” but I have not come across it’s equal by far, that includes plant shows/conventions. Honestly the closest place to their selection would be one of the conservatories. I sometimes go there just to look despite being a solid 25 min drive.I wouldn’t suggest any place else
