I love Sally’s, and shop there all the time, never have had a problem until my local store closed and had to go to the Tinley Park location. The manager, is rude, dismissive, impolite, abrupt, harsh, and everything a manager shouldn’t be. You work in retail and customer service. Your customers are your livelihood. I purchased a GVP dry bar hairbrush, the store clerk helped me pick it out, I wanted a size smaller than what I already have, purchased it, said I don’t need the receipt because it’s in my purchase history. When I got home I compared the size to the Revlon one I had and it was the exact same size, so the following weekend I tried to exchange the item for another one. Can you believe they told me I couldn’t exchange it because I don’t have the actual paper receipt, it was the same clerk that helped me pick it out. I asked for a manager and Yolanda came out all authoritarian and looked down at me as if I stole the brush. She said she didn’t care that it was in my purchase history and she wouldn’t exchange it. I was completely floored. I brought it home and decided to call the corporate customer service line, she fount it in my purchase history, called the store and spoke to Yolanda letting her know I have every right to return the item. Hats to corporate Jessica, you were great. Needless, to say, I took it back to the store tonight and they tried to tell me I couldn’t return it. Yolanda came up to assist the other clerk, didn’t utter a word to me, but gave me a sneer. When she left the young clerk told me everyone hates her

Went for hair dye and the Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable with helpful ideas. Also 3 hair dyes toner and other items and the cost was 25 dollars very affordable.

I purchased an Ion orchid hair color tube, which I tried to return. Jailyn at the front desk yesterday refused the return and noStore credit so I may get another since the color in the tube was white and not purple and smelled like peroxide. I called Corp, the supervisor explained that it isCompany policy to accept returns since it is their merchandise. I called back and explained this to Jailyn and she said her Store Manager Yolanda trained her to not accept any returns without a receipt. Corp said I need to call back and speak to Yolanda, which of course she won’t be in until Friday. Don’t waste your time or money at this location.

I just would like to say that I worked for this company for 7 years I transferred to this location last year in March I no longer work there because the Manager Yolanda is mentally abusive also the district manager Vanessa Lara who has been with the company for 28 29 years is also unprofessional and Mentally abusive. I was a a really good employee I cared for my customers and they loved me as well always was there to help every step of the way. Through the years has been rough with short staff at every location notice how a few closed down ?? I was always there to lend a helping hand I had to leave the first time at oak forest location because of Vanessa Lara Dm 2 weeks after I went into Tinley park to shop the manager Yolanda asked me what happen because I used to go help her location because she could never keep a staff I learned to see why after she asked me to come work for her so she could go on her vacations 2 3 times a month and held down her store jus the ways she liked it and she is very particular about so many things and she still found reasons when she would come back to nit pick at me about whatever she could under the sun it was pure harassment to the point the other girls who still work there to this day also noticed her craziness tords me this woman would leave me on 11 hour days by myself on a 2,000 day 4 days before a serious surgery also me moving into a house she took vacations left a right I ran her store while she would be gone also would racially profile me to customers over the phone. Of course it's so much more I could say about this woman who runs this store the last 8 years she is a horrible person the way she treats other woman she lies to customers and also knows nothing about hair products or color at that I have herd her talking with customers about hair color and completely telling them the wrong things she is just trien to sell you that a promise you this woman is insane and needs help and the company should have fired her a long time ago along with a crooked Dm Vanessa Lara she needs to be checked Into by a lawyer please avoid this woman and this location if anyone knows its me

First they cancel my order and take my reward then I go to the store to try and purchase everything I had on my order and the one African American female tells me an item I have isn’t part of the deal but it’s the exact item I have in my original order. In the end I left the store. Drove to Mokena location and had no issues with the workers or products. Worth the drive to Mokena!

The Orland park location is now closed. I came to this one in tinley, they were very helpful and attentive. They had everything I needed.
