Room was fine, bathroom wasn't clean, service from attached photo was horrible. I advised him that microwave had egg exploded in it when I went to use it and dining area needed cleaning. He stated that he doesn't clean, wait until staff comes in at 6 or 7 very rudely and walked off.

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever seen in my entire life. We drove all day to end up in this cesspool.We entered our room, and the bathroom was obviously not clean. Human excrement on the inside of the toilet. The shower was grimey and smelled.We walked a little further in just to find MORE excrement! The bed looked as if it had been made by a 3 year old. Above it, handprints on the wall.From beginning to end, we were there for 10 minutes. I went downstairs and told them we were leaving, the place was unacceptable. The man at the front desk, honestly, the only good thing about this place, apologized profusely. I told them to cancel my stay, and we drove across the street the Wyndham.THEY CHARGED ME FULL PRICE. I tried reaching out to get a refund, but nothing.No response.6 weeks later, I was back in the area and confronted the staff, and the front desk worker took my information. Told me I'd receive a call within a couple of days.Still.No.Response.I disputed it through Discover. They credited my account, and I thought I was done with this nightmare.Wrong.La Quinta responded to Discover (miraculously). Claimed that they provided the service requested.Avoid this place at all costs. This place needs a bulldozer.

Was told pool and hot tub was up and running and the pool had things floating in it and a film of something on top of it and the hot tub was empty which just minutes before the front desk told me everything was up and running, the whole third floor smelled of pot which I am allergic to and was told there was nothing the staff could do about it because it was legal in Illinois. I will never book another room at one of these hotels again

Manager is rude. Will tell you that you're an "uncivilized" person because you can't get a working phone system. She was unable to really even manage two things at once. Very unhinged behavior. I hope the other guests heard her talking to us.

During the check in process, I was told that they were working with a new system and was having a lot of problems. BEWARE!!!! Watch your account. For two days straight, I received random charges from this organization. I spoke with the Manager Natasha (who was rude) she did not want to hear my complaint. Natasha stated my money would be refunded. A refund was sent then canceled on 10-2-23!

I did not actually stay at this property. I booked through points online. The date somehow got changed from when I wanted the reservation to be and it booked it for that night. (Even though it was already after midnight in Chicago. I was on the West Coast, booking at night for a 2 weeks from when I was booking.) When I found there was a problem the next day and called, the hotel said I was a no-show and had already taken the points. I am still hoping Wyndham Rewards will be able to help get my points back. But, I am not sure about that. So, beware when making Wyndham reservations online, especially at night!!!

Stayed here for two weeks. What a mistake. Breakfast consisted of waffles, cereal, and danish most mornings. All carbs, no protein. A few mornings they had hard boiled eggs and Jimmy Dean sausage, egg, cheese bisquites. Had a fire alarm go off at 7:00am and had to evacuate the rooms to the outside parking lot until the fire dept. gave the ok to go back in. Windows in the room are filthy and not sound proof. Some one roaring the car engines at 12:30am and at 2:00am. Room had no dressers just little cubbie holes for your socks, underware and things. Small area to hang up your clothes due to the iron and ironing board stored in it. Couch in room could use a good cleaning. Exhaust fan in the bathroom was filthy and needed to be cleaned. Paint on wall in room was scratched off and should be repaired. Had our bedsheets and towels changed only once for two week stay.Management didn't seem to care. I'll never stay at a La Quinta again, especially this one.

The front desk clerk was very short with answers and rude. The card was declined even though there is sufficient funds. We called the bank and it was straightened out. But after dealing with the clerk we cancelled and all she said was ok.

This has to be one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at. They never emptied the trash. They didn’t replace the towels nor change the bed sheets. They also had a dirty and tacky chair in the room.

Staff was exceptionally courteous, professional and friendly. The rooms, first they gave us a room that was already occupied. We returned to the front desk and they apologized and stated they would upgrade our room. The upgraded room was dark, with one light, the phone was on the floor that was on the opposite side of the room with one king bed. We went back downstairs to inform we didn’t want the room. The third room was okay. At least there was light. We were there for 5 days and four nights and they never cleaned the room. We requested for the room to be cleaned when we left for the day and upon our return, the room was still not cleaned. Went to the front desk to inquire why the room was not cleaned, we were told you have to request to have a room clean. We requested for the room to be cleaned the next day and we received clean towels. And of course has we returned the next night, once again, the room was clean.I will never stay at that place again. The rooms are fair, dirt at the base of the tub, no clock in the room, microwave makes noise along with the sink faucet. Bed and pillows are fair and the window had glue or paper all on it. But the refrigerator and air conditioner worked well. Stay at you own risk.

Bed very comfortable. Room cleanalthough the floor could have been cleaner. My socks were black from walking around. Front desk was friendly and housekeeping very nice and accommodating. I will be back!

Breakfast is not hardly anything and the hot tub is out of order. Other than that it's perfectly fine and clean no issues.

The only redeeming quality of this property was the front desk Staff who were courteous and efficient, but that is where the good comments end.The property was dirty and disgusting and suffered from poor maintenance and upkeep. When we pulled the bed covers down, we found a cluster of hair in the blankets that looked like a bunch of pubic hair, which completely grossed us out. The bathroom baseboard were dirty, and the overall cleanliness was not what we have experienced, in other hotels owned by this same chain. We immediately began trying to find a new place to stay, but there was a big concert nearby, so most of the hotels were either full or extremely expensive I generally do not write negative reviews, but this is was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Luckily, we were able to secure rooms at a nearby newer hotel the next morning and the remainder of our stay in the area was enjoyableRooms: The guest rooms were not clean, nor were they well maintained.

Bathrooms are dirty and the TV doesn't have many channels. Building looks run down. Breakfast was pretty empty. The waffle maker was on but no mix, coffee pots stayed empty, the juice machine wasn't turned, and bananas were black. I will not stay here again!

Just stayed here for one night. The rooms have been made over. However, we had ants located by the air conditioner. The ironing board cover was nasty. The front lobby was just filty. I will never patronize this hotel. Paint chipping everywhere you look. Looks like the new owners are trying to cut corners. Sorry, this is not a good place to stay! I woke up with a mysterious bug bite on my leg.
