This is probably the worst location in the area. The selection is usually slim. The hourly staff are nice but management is awful. Was denied use of $27 coupon I recieve and use every year because the manager did not want to be bother to fill out the information.

Jewel in Tinley park IL on 171st has the most rude, disrespectful employees out of any store Ive been to in Tinley park. I must point out it's mostly the self check out cashiers. After shopping here for 25 years I finally decided to stop shopping here. I complained to the store corporate level, was asked if I would like to receive a call back and of course no one called. I'm willing to pay the extra cost for food. However, to be treated disrespectfully while doing is not going to happen. P.S There is one outstanding employee, her name is April. she's always kind and helpful.

Horrible service. I just needed to pick up an item from the deli but no the workers had the attitude not to serve when it was my turn in line. Bad experience especially just picking up an order for someone else.

*NOTE TO BUYER-Smaller avocados are usually picked prematurely, which is why you see all the brown, hard fiber lines throughout. (Check photos) Typically the produce appears to be pretty good, UNLESS you're buying avocados. I'm tired of wasting money weekly, waiting for them to ripen, only to realize it's aerated, brown, premature, moldy & fibrous. It's not like these things are cheap either. For the record, I buy them when they're green & hard, then allow them to ripen over the next 3-4 days. Why pay $2 and only use 1/4 of it? Clean, organized store. Friendly employees. I'm usually in & out. Never had to wait long in the lines. I'd like to know when they started letting ppl in with animals that aren't visibly identified as service animals

Alayna and Brad who work in the bakery section are the kind of employees that make me want to keep coming back. They were so nice and helpful, the kind of employees that would be an improvement to any business

I was a bit undecided on going in the store after what I have read in yelp but I have a no choice. When I was in the store, I was surprised. I haven't had a problem or a negative experience. The store was clean and bright. Everything seems organized and well stocked. The selections on most departments are in a good condition and their produce was fresh. They have organic options on every products which is a good thing. Customers seems to love their baked goodies, it was almost gone and it was still early. Prices seems to be better compared to my last visit.

Disappointed. I've been here before and it wasn't bad, but today in the two minutes between the pharmacy and the produce department, I saw 5 people without any mask. Clearly, Jewel has stopped caring about basic safety. Done shopping here until the pandemic is over. (Two stars instead of on because the pharmacy was polite and efficient.)

have the doors open ! only 1 door open ( exit door ) how is a handicapped person supposed to come inside after 10pm , I would also think this would be a fire hazard for such a big store ??

I just wanted to say how wonderful the pharmacists are. Particularly Tom and Ken. They both are super helpful. I have had some unexpected health issues recently and they both have gone above and beyond for me and are always really friendly and approachable. Thank you Tom and Ken for being great pharmacists and people

After shopping at Jewel for many years now spending a few hundred dollars every time I go today the 11 of July will be the last day I spend my hard earned money there.this will be the 3rd time lines are out the door, multiple check outs not open and customers bagging their groceries. I pointed out to the shift supervisor named Carol that my wife does not work there as she was bagging not my purchase but elderly couple that were in front of us to speed the process up and all I got was a dirty look as she watched my wife doing what the supervisor should of stepped up to do.They have lost a customer for life now.

Let me start by saying I have shopped this Jewel store for over 30 years. Today is my last time there! I was returning an item with the only receipt I have for item in question. Was not treated well by the customer service person. Backing up a bit, I through out all my spices and wanted to replenish them. With the help of a customer at the time I was able to get a multi mix by McCormick. Did not use the product till a month later and to my surprise the seal was broken. C/S person told me I had wrong receipt. I checked all my receipts at home. Can't believe that I was treated so bad! I could go on but I'm done with Jewel

more expensive than other competitors. Delivery of groceries never arrived. They told me I would need to reorder, yet keeps a hold on my money for 3-5 days. Walmart is better deal and better customer service.
