Horrible experience and cannot wait until my lease is up. If you read all the reviews they speak for themselves. I don't want to list out everything that has happened but a quick overview: I leased a brand new jeep. Broke down on me 3 times and only had it for less than a year. Having to deal with anyone over at this company is a joke. They wouldn't even offer me a loaner, made me go through enterprise and expected me to pay over 300 dollars in taxes for them having my vehicle for over a month. ON TOP of my regular monthly payment. Nick (Sales rep) is great when you make a sale with him. Then he don't care because he has made his money and doesn't bother to help you resolve anything. The service department is a complete mess. Like the WORST service experience. After having my car for over a month. They tried returning my car to me with a flat tire and completely on E. Dean (service manager) told me they would reimburse me for the taxes. Never happened. I also still have yet to get the second set of keys.. It will be 5 months of me waiting for them to mail them to me. If you're looking for a dealership who truly cares about their customers and that has reliable vehicles, I would stay clear of this place.

All these dodge dealerships in the area are scams. I had multiple recalls on my car that needed to be fixed and they charge me a couple hundred dollars for it. Absolutely will not be buying another care from here.

Bought a brand new 2022 Jeep from this dealership. In a little more than a year, it wouldn't start. They said it would take two weeks to even look at it and that the warranty wouldn't cover it until it was in the shop. I would have to pay out of pocket for a rental so it was just cheaper to take it to a mechanic. These people are crooks, they found a clever way to not honor warranties. I would not recommend doing business with such a shady place.

I wouldn't recommend bringing your mopar here. It took almost two months to get my car back and most of the time was spent sitting in the lot for the same part they ordered multiple times. The communication is poor as well, the reps can't tell you exactly what's wrong, rushing you off the phone, giving false promises when your car will be ready. I also loved how they made sure to unplug my dash cam when my car was there for a trans issue, knocking it off my mirror putting it back crooked.

Absolutely garbage. Brought in a brand new 23 overland L I purchased for 75k. Electrical flickered then ac blew out, they then proceeded to tell me they wouldn't even look at the vehicle for a minimum of 3 weeks. Didn't offer a loaner even though I bought all the warranties. What a shit show. That's bad business and makes me wish I never bought a jeep. That's pretty sad honestly. Next thing is the "owner or manager" will reply to this review stating that we should call them immediately to remedy this situation only to get the spin around. Lol big joke. Can't wait to get rid of this jeep and buy a Chevy! I recommend you do not buy a jeep especially from this location. Again go buy Chevy, their service department actually takes you in immediately and will have a loaner ready for you! I can say this with absolute confidence because I Own a total of 7 cars and 3 of them are brand new Tahoe suburban and Yukon. Anytime I have any sort of issue even if it's just in my head they take it in and get straight to it all while handing you a loaner like they're supposed to because THATS WHAT WE PAID FOR!" Service really had the nerve to tell me to get a car from enterprise and pay out my pocket, without even giving me a real time frame. Wooow. So mad I bought a jeep but no biggie I'll trade it in immediately and buy another Chevy.

This is our second experience with the service department. Both have been poor for the same reasons. Scheduled an appointment for Wednesday at 8:10am due to illuminated check engine light. Dropped vehicle off the night prior. 130 the next day call to check status of vehicle, service advisor states vehicle will not be looked at today but promised it will be checked out first thing in the morning. Explain to service advisor that it is likely an emissions component, which has been the case the 7 previous times and that it is covered under the FCA lawsuit extended warranty. Asked that they at least get it diagnosed so if it's a warranty issue we would be authorized a rental while we wait for the repair. Advisor states she understands and will get it checked out. Next day Thursday no call from advisor, call at 4pm, get bounced around the service department phone lines, sent to voicemail, leave voicemail, call back transferred to service desk cashier, transferred to service advisor get voicemail, leave voicemail. 5pm call back speak with a different service advisor as ours had left for the day. States Amy our service advisor is going to push to get it checked out first thing Friday morning. I ask for a return call he says he will make a note. Friday 130pm no call, I call, get bounced around service department phone again. I am told service advisor Amy is at her desk and they are transferring me to her. Get voicemail, leave voicemail, call 5 more times can't speak to any service advisors, call a 6th time ask for service manager, get voicemail, leave voicemail asking service manager to call back. 630pm no call back. I call, get service desk voicemail, call back again, speak with Dan, Dan says Amy has left for the day. I explain the situation and express my frustration, Dan is very nice, says he will call me personally the next day with an update. I explain to Dan that it is my understanding from our last very similar experience that diesel techs do not work the weekend. Dan said he believes that is still true but he would call me the next day with an update regardless. (Our jeep is a diesel) It is now Friday night, 3 full days after our scheduled appointment time for diagnostic. No diesel techs work the weekend so our vehicle won't be diagnosed until next week. The extended FCA lawsuit warranty and our MOPAR warranty both cover rental cars however we can't get a rental until the vehicle has been diagnosed. We will be without our vehicle or a rental for at least 6 days now. We received no updates from the service department and had a very difficult time getting ahold of anyone when we called numerous times ourselves for updates. The service manager still has not returned our call. I understand service departments have a difficult job and I empathize. To leave us hanging though for days on end and ignore and not return our calls is terrible customer service. Just because your job sucks, doesn't mean you have to suck at your job. I will pick our vehicle up tomorrow and make an appointment at another dealership. I was not going to use Bettenhausen again after the last 2 week dick drag of an experience we had but my Dad used them and said they were great, so I figured I'd give them another shot. They are the closest. It doesn't matter how close they are if they take 2 weeks to look at your vehicle after your scheduled appointment time, and suck in every possible way at customer service and service in general. I sure I hope I get flagged for a survey by the folks who matter to these dealerships. I do not and would not recommend Bettenhausen.

My car was sold to me last year and had a recall. The first night I had the car it went into a "theft mode" and had to be left in a spot near a friends house for 3 days. Jeep could not get someone to tow the car for THREE days. Finally they had someone car and I did not get my car back for weeks. The car had a recall and they still let me drive off the lot. It has now been a year and I have had nothing except issue after issue. This store is unprofessional and not helpful. Would not recommend to anyone who wants a safe vehicle. Update....went back to get the car fixed AGAIN. Was left on empty, car was not washed, and the manager never even came out to apologize for the multiple inconveniences I've had since purchasing this car

Visited for the first time this weekend with my 2016 Jeep, I made a 10am appointment weeks ago. I go to check in with the front desk area and I provide my information to the young lady. She states you dont have a appointment . I state yes I do, her response is for me to pull up my email, which I do. She then states "well someone must have deleted your appointment from the system because it isn't here." We get that figured out and then my car is serviced. I came in for a oil change, which they did, I also got a fiter changed. There was some other issues they found, and we talked about them. The service technicians here lack customer service, and it seems like just a bunch of people who dont want to be there. I decided to get the other work done elsewhere. Due to lack of service I would never come back here, also they don't top off your fluids (my other car is a Toyota their service area always tops off fluids). Also I was advised that additional work was needed but I was not provided a cost edtimate nor invited to return for the additional services. I have NEVER had this happen at any other brand dealership. I would not recommend this location.

Don't bother. I first tried buying a jeep here in 2012 and after rude terrible service I decided to buy my $45,000 jeep somewhere else because of it. Forward 10 years later and still terrible service. I recently moved back to the area and needed to find a Jeep dealer to service my recall. Well they stringed me along for 18 months for a service part recall saying they're backed up and part isn't available even though I'be been told otherwise by FCA multiple times. FCA even ordered the part for me to be delivered there and they still claimed part wasn't in. Keep your distance because if you ever need something for your car after purchase, I doubt you'll get the service you need.

Nick Pattenaude took his time with your purchase we were able to test drive 3 vehicles we wanted to test drive and we did not have to go to multiple dealers looking for the cars Nick was patient and took his time to make sure we got our questions answer. Nick is not like other salesman, he is not pushy or makes you feel like you are pressure into your purchase. We took our time and never felt like we were being trying to be push out the door. Nick was very busy and had many repeat customers while we were there. Nick was able to handle the whole sale we did not have to talk to his manager or the finance guy. Which was very nice.

Micah Neely the Manager at Bettenhausen has treated me poorly as a consumer. He has also threatened me. I purchased a car Feb 16, 2022. Was also told that I had to put a down payment down to purchase the vehicle Jan 5, 2022 which I did. But it is illegal; it's a violation of Consumer Law 15 USC 1662B. Purchased vehicle with Cash a check from Navy Federal bank. They called me two weeks later and said hey we need a new check. My creditor wasn't able to issue me a new check, they told me to tell Bettenhaussen of Orland park to fix their mistake and they will pay them out. Bettenhaussen called me and said your check is no good. It's your fault you need to apply for a new check and start the process over again. This is all over the phone. I let them know that the bank sent me a letter letting me know that the Bettenhaussen Fincan department messed up the check and didn't stamp it. Then Ryan the salemens called me stating that my check wasn't any good and I let him know that it was and that the bank sent me a letter. Then Micah called me yelling telling me that my check was no good. I need to start the process over and get a new check or he is going to take my car. He stated that he is calling the police. I told Micah that the bank sent me a letter and I can send it to him, Micah said send it to ryan I don't check my email. I did just that and didn't hear from Micah until 3 weeks later april 6,2022 threatening to call the police to take my car from a mistake your company made. Everything I did was legal. I will attach the letter from Navy Federal Credit Union. I have never been treated so poorly. Violations of my rights. I am a Consumer and I am protected by Federal Law. Consumer Law `1 Consumer Law 15 USC 1662B consumer law 1692 15 usc 1933 Act Title 15 Chapter 41 The car dealer cannot cancel the purchase contract after the 10-day period has expired. If a car dealer tries to do this, My understanding is that the car dealer is no longer entitled to cancel the purchase contract. Bettenhausen need to take responsibility for their actions. Worst car transaction I have ever Experience.

Came here to get my complementary service done on my 2021 Durango. Clean facility and friendly staff with a nice, clean waiting area for their customers. I only wish the wait had not taken so long but to their credit, there were several people ahead of me when I arrived at 7:30am. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the porter had not only washed the vehicle but vacuumed the interior as well. Overall I had a good experience at Bettenhausen and would recommend you come see them the next time you need maintenance on your Chrysler/Jeep vehicle.

Had a fuel tank issue where it would instantly turn off at pump. Truck still under warranty. Upon arrival was told it will be at least 3 weeks to even look at it. Brought it in three weeks later to look at it. And was told tank needed replacement, left and three days later get a check engine light , fuel cap off light and and horrible rattle from the underside. So take a day off work, cancel weekend trip, bring the truck back in yet again, and was told it was not installed correctly last week. Guess they didn't know that evap hose was needed. Hours later get my truck back without apology or anything. Guess Joliet Ram dealership will be getting my business from now on.
