Absolutely adorable boutique style thrift store. However, when charging $5+ for a wooden children's puzzle, PLEASE cling wrap instead of tape them. This was the result after ten minutes of careful unwrapping. The back is just as bad. The entire thing is now trash. It had been in perfect condition.

Wonderful shop and a worthy cause. Regional tech so that you know that the dollars you spend are supporting the cause they champion. I've donated and purchased many things here over the years and highly recommend it.

Our store's purpose is to support the mission of Home of the Sparrow, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides housing and services to homeless women and children in McHenry County and Northern Illinois. 100% of the net proceeds from the store directly supports the clients in Home of the Sparrow programs. The Sparrow's Nest is also a zero cost provider of clothing, furniture and housewares to H.O.S. clients and clients of other agencies in Northern Illinois.
