I have always had wonderful experience with Etheridge Animal Hospital. They are a very busy clinic. I have added a photo of their displayed hours, which are a bit more complicated than what is posted on Google.

My boyfriend and I brought our puppy in for a reaction to her spay incision stitches. We received antibiotics and it cleared up! Our visit was brisk and everyone was very friendly. Their location is also very convenient. It is very helpful they are open on a Saturday as well. I will definitely be back for future visits as needed.

I took my chi poo there today and I assume it was the dr, came in the room, didn’t introduce herself. She acted like she was high in something. Listened to her real quick and said “no heart murmur or hernia.” I’m like is this the kind of exam you give to animals? It was like she was in such a hurry and did not spend hardly anytime with my dog. She never once asked me how she is doing, etc. I will not be coming back there.

I recently had to make the hardest decision of my life. While she was "only a dog" to some, my Chihuahua of 13 years had to be put down. Lil Bit was my "baby" and had gotten me through some of the hardest points in my life. She was my best friend. Tracy and the entire staff at Etheridge were wonderful in helping me make a choice I wish I never had too. They were kind, compassionate and gave me time to say goodbye. Thank for for being so kind. My Lil Bit is back home and while I will miss her forever, I appreciate such a wonderful staff.

We adopted a cat who was surrendered to Etheridge. She's amazing and we're so glad we opened our home to her, but Etheridge really needs to keep better records of animals coming from these situations.I took our new cat to our regular vet to have her teeth cleaned. Etheridge had supposedly given her a rabies vaccine before trying to find her a home. Our vet called Etheridge to attempt to get her vaccine records. They were unable to provide them, so I called for more information.Apparently, they don't feel the need to keep records for animals that receive care that are then adopted out. The lady who answered my call seemed sympathetic, but was super unhelpful, since our new cat has a very common name. I explained I have the EXACT DATE we picked her up, and asked if they couldn't just narrow their search by month or date to figure out which record might be hers. Nope, they can't do that. They asked which of their employees had posted about her, so I found the post about her and messaged the girls that way. Only to be met with "We aren't an animal shelter, we could have provided them when you picked her up." Considering I've never had issues requesting vet records from any other veterinarian before, including animals I'd rescued from other clinics, I didn't realize it would be such a hassle for my vet to get her records. They told me the only way they could search was by her prior owner's name. I'm not sure how exactly I'd know that, since I rescued her after she was surrendered and I didn't know her previous owners. We're fortunate that we could get her a second dose before her cleaning, but I feel it should be standard practice to keep better records of the animals that receive care at the clinic. If they're "not an animal shelter," I'm not sure why keeping records of the few animals that do get adopted out from there is so difficult.I'm glad we only needed them for another vet and not because she'd bitten someone and we needed proof she didn't have rabies. In my opinion, not keeping diligent records of rabies vaccinations, ESPECIALLY for animals who are adopted out and may not return to Etheridge, is wildly irresponsible practice.

**Update**My dog has no issues with his hips or leg. He had injured his back a few days prior to the surgery and had he been given an x-ray prior to like we asked for, it would've been seen and any good vet would've known not to move forward with the surgery because of risk of infection. Which did happen... He has a pretty serious infection in his back now which was probably minor in the beginning but due to the negligence of this place, it's full blown and very touch and go. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT THEIR LIFE!!!!!!!We've been taking our dogs here for a few years for shots and have gotten them neutered as well because they're fairly cheap. Our newest dog seemed to have gotten hurt a few weeks ago and it was just a few days before his already scheduled appointment to be neutered so we waited to have him checked out when we'd already be there. We told them we were concerned about hip dysplasia as he's a large breed and is more prone to it. When we picked him up later that day, we were told an xray was performed, that he sprained his knee, was given anti-inflammatories and told if he's not better in a month to bring him back and we'll be referred to another vet who deals with ortho. 3 weeks later, he'd gotten way worse. Was up all through the night crying, yelping and in severe pain. We called and was given more meds along with gabapentin and was told it could take 3-4 months to get better. My instincts said to take him for a second opinion so I called a few vets and have him scheduled for two consultations. Those vets called Etheridge and were both told they don't know how to email the xray images but we could come pick them up on a USB drive. My husband left work early today to get the USB drive and when he got there, they said there weren't any images and they didn't save them. I call them and ask what is going on and why is this such a mess at this point.. I was told my dog never had an xray and my husband is confused. I explained that my husband wouldn't just come up with all of this stuff out of thin air and I pointed out that the other 2 vets were both told we could pick up the xray images on a USB drive and that I highly doubt 3 different people are confused. Needless to say, it is likely my 10 month old has hip dysplasia and has been suffering this whole time due to negligence from this 'animal hospital'. I will never step foot in this place again. How dare you guys make my dog suffer like this and refuse to take accountability for your poor service!

Ethridge really is THE BEST vet out there. They are always busy (because they're the best!) but they never let that deter their friendliness and compassion for every person that walks in, they really care about every pet that comes in. The vet there is so knowledgeable and always has the best treatment for your pet and wants to see them at their best! Thank you, really. It means the world to have someone you can always count on. God bless every one of you there. You are doing great work. The Casner's
