Our sales guy was very nice and did not pressure us at all into buying. We had a slight problem with Kunes paying off our trade in. However, we received a phone call from the Regional Manager and all was worked out.

Possibly the worst buying experience I have had in my life. The dealership states they do a safety inspection and check. That could be correct but they DONT disclose all the problems the car has to the buyer. I took a 2010 Chrysler Sebring to a mechanic before I bought it. The SAFETY INSPECTED car had an oil leak from the main seal, the convertible top did not work, the computer was for a different vehicle with different mileage, the power steering line was leaking fluid, tires were mismatched and needed replacing, the oil dipstick was broke (how did the check the oil) and three other error codes which the dealership must have cleared but not fixed. When I took the car back to the dealer and made them an offer with everything that had to be fixed, the STORE MANAGER told me he looked at their mechanic's inspection and saw the problems. What? But, did not disclose them? They came back with an offer of $1000 more, and I turned it down. A week later they still had the car, none of the items were fixed and wanted the full asking price. In my opinion, this is what has given car dealers a bad reputation. BUYERS REALLY BEWARE. TAKE ANY USED CAR to a mechanic you can trust to really look at a car before buying from Kunes. By the way, I emailed the management of the entire operation, and no response. WHAT YOU CONDONE, YOU OWN!

So happy with their parts and service department. About three weeks ago they got me in for a noise and we assumed it was wheel bearing. I called night before and they got me in next day and fixed it for a really good price! New wheel bearing and hub on my 08 Ford Fusion. Fast forward a couple weeks been dealing with a different noise. Was going to do their premier oil change and fuel treatment as well as front gasket covers think it was engine related as noise was when cold and turning right. Turns out it was the torque trans mount and it was shot. Decided to do oil change fuel treatment and the trans mount and they even threw in rotating the tires! “I’m a tough negotiator” lol this morning noise was gone and car is riding smooth with 213,000 mile on her. I won’t go to any other mechanic shop from now on cause they gained my trust and my loyalty. Thank you Grant in Part and the WHOLE service team. Even helped with a loaner to get to work and back while worked on which is rare but I got lucky it was available. Can’t thank you guys enough!

You and Eric both wasted my time. Kunes is a joke and a fraud. Kevin you should really not lie to potential customers. Instead of being honest and telling me the truth about 2k down and payments that you could swing for me I got neither, and neither did the sales person. Learn your JOB better bro.

Don't believe the price. The manager comes in at the end to add an extra 10 thousand to the price. I waited a year for my vehicle to come in and that's how they treat you. The color vehicle I ordered was sold before I got in there a day later and then they lied it was damaged and the other guy said it was sold. Buy a Honda elsewhere!

Soon as they get you, you'll be screwed, it's all about the money for them. Don't get scammed at this literal joke of a dealership, save your money and dignity, never give Kunes business

They have been hounding us for over a month about wanting our Audi SQ5. They had a Mercedes on their lot that we were considering so we finally caved and drove an hour so they could appraise our vehicle. When we got there they refused to let us talk to the guy we had the appointment with. A lady kept insisting we go with her and then another man came up and told that unfortunately the mercedes has just been rear ended the day before so it was waiting to get repaired. We couldnt even test drive it. They had no desire to appraise our Audi either so completely wasted our time and had us drive an hour for no reason at all. BEWARE, they are still selling the mercedes at the same price they were before it was involved in an accident.

We arrived fully prepared to purchase a vehicle- including having pre approved financing. They attempted to sell us a vehicle after marking it up almost $6,000 from the online price- a price that we were told over the phone was not only accurate but flexible. Considering we came in from 2 hours away we were displeased to say the least. We called back later assuming the price breakdown we had was an error- they were very busy and we could see where it could have been a old sheet that wasn’t up to date. They gave a total run around on phone and still keep quoting numbers that are not reflective of online pricing. Be very careful of what you are signing and be aware of what they are charging you if you buy from this dealership. Not good business practice.

INCOMPETENT AND SUBSTANDARD SERVICE. Incompetent management and sales people. Do not give your money to Mike Medina and company. This dealership does not care for their customers. This dealership will make a deal with you, and then turn around and sell that same vehicle to the next highest bidder within the span of less than 24 business hours. AFTER TAKING YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. What's worse is that this is fully on purpose. They know what they are doing, they just don't care. They do it because they can and are allowed to. They are fully aware that they are screwing over the customer. More so, they do not lift a finger to assist the customer after they are done screwing them over. Save yourself time and energy and do not do business with Mike Medina, who personally approves of these unethical business practices. Shame on the management, who allows this to happen with such frequency that discourtesy towards the customer is a feature of their business. If leadership and corporate office condones these business tactics, they do not deserve the business of honest, hardworking people. Do yourself a favor and give your time, business, and money to any other dealership.

Took my car into the Honda side if the service shop. Had an issue with a protective shield on the bottom of my Honda Fit. I was so worried this was going to be expensive. These guys were super nice and they put some pins back where the fell off the flap and filled my tires reset the tire light and sent me on my way. Oh I'll definitely be back again. I love great service like this.

Finance guy and sales manager lady both dishonorable and disreputable. Flat out lied and were manipulative. Pathetic, embarrassing excuse for a dealership. Shame on Honda. When caught in the finance guy's lie, the sales manager nervously spoke to us for a half an hour - talked and talked and talked and talked and talked... about everything and anything BUT the contract- trying to smooth out the situation by being personable with us. Bottom line, she just ended up lying. Embarrassing and pathetic. I will never do business here again and will never recommend them to anyone.

Joe and Hope went out of their way to take care of me after KIA failed to honor my warranty. I was left with a 2017 KIA sportage with only 30k miles on it and was told it needed a new engine and KIA refused to honor the warranty and was going to charge me 10,000 dollars to replace it with a new engine!!!! I went to Honda of Sycamore and was treated with the best customer service I could ask for from the time I walked in until the time I drove away in my new 2020 Honda Accord!! I always dread going car shopping and doing the car buyer and car seller dance. It never felt like that here! If you are looking for a place to buy a car, from people who care and treat you like a human being I highly suggest shopping at Honda of Sycamore. They have won my business and that of my family for as long as I live in this area! If you go, ask for Hope or Joe!!!
