HyVee Wine and Spirits is my go to place. Gus is the man! This place has the best craft beer selection around. Gus is always on the lookout for something new as well as keeping old favorites stocked. Can’t find what you are looking for? Gus will be on hunt to find it and add it to the inventory. His knowledge of products is amazing. Not only can he tell one about the beers, but tequilas, whiskeys and bourbons? I’ve never been steered wrong purchasing one of his recommendations. Gus always has a fun event planned, usually 3 or 4 events! (Probably more!) One not only enjoys the events, but gains an education about the products too. The entire team at HyVee Wine and Spirits is greatly appreciated! A special shout out to both Gus and Ben for all they do!

So last Thursday my boyfriend and I did the bogo steak dinner. The steaks where very think. The used to be a few years ago. We where not asked how we wanted our steak cooked. We ate in the dining room very hard to cut a steak with butter knife. My boyfriend steak was very rare.

Yes in sycamore this is the place to go get your groceries they have a huge selection that compares to the Whole Foods store but a cheaper prices. I love the fact that you can also get your receipts on your email They have a coffee shop and a huge restaurant to sit and eat there too. On Wednesday they have a pay one get one free sushi and is very good they have sandwiches and pizza and a huge selection already made Chinese food Did I tell you it has its own pharmacy and a huge liquor store Yes I forgot to mention they have their own gas station and you can use your rewards card from the point you earn from the grocery store

This review is for Fast&Fresh - which is the HyVee C-Store by the gas pumps, not for the supermarket (which is really good BTW). Good coffee, quick and efficient, the coffee was hot and my Gatorade was cold. I didn't buy gas but did check the prices versus the area and found it in the top third pricewise. I don't know if HyVee has some price discount tied to shopping in the supermarket.

I used to recommend Hy-bee pharmacy to people looking for a new pharmacy. Since Sharda and Chris have been gone the customer service has been greatly lacking.

The whiskey tasting event and raffle March 26 was an absolute blast. Sycamore Whiskey Club members had a great time and it looked like there were over 250 people there! We got to try some fantastic whiskeys and the raffle had some great bourbons and whiskeys. There was free food and snacks, too. If they ever have another event, you have to go! Thanks to Gus for organizing this event!
