This bank has a wonderful staff that is very helpful. The location is convenient in Sycamore as are other branches in the area. There are a variety of services offered to both individuals and businesses. Lobby and drive through hours are very accommodating for those in need of a direct interaction. The online services offered are also quite easy to navigate.

This place is very unprofessional and doesn’t know its own policies. We drove all the way from wisconsin and they acted like they couldn’t help fix it or guide us in the right direction. Do not recommend.

I have been banking here for nearly 20 years, and have always felt like the staff has went above & beyond. This bank still has that personal "small town feel" where you are not just a number, or a dollar sign. I have had countless dealing with this bank, and I hope it remains this way. It has been a pleasure to get to know various members of the staff throughout the years. I highly recommend this bank.

The Sycamore branch of First National is the most efficient bank they have in the area. The staff are the greatest and always deal with banking needs with a smile. I had a lot of complex issues related to banking when my father passed away. The banking staff made all of those issues painless and were very knowledgeable. They walked me through every step! Anyone who uses First National as their bank in the DeKalb County area needs to use the Sycamore branch!

Been banking here for years. After my dad tragically passed away in a house fire I decided why not open an estate account with the bank I have been with for over 10 years. Customer service was awful! Especially Eva at the sycamore location. She was cold hearted and super un professional, and seemed annoyed we needed help!! I’m so upset with the situation we may very well be switching banks!! Not the small town feels we are use to!!

Still have not received a call back from Mikayla (?). I guess the time is closer to 48 hours than 24 hours. Still $175.00 in overdraft fees have NOT been refunded!! Another fee hit, as I thought the auto pay was shut off. Called the local Sycamore IL branch, and they will only refund a partial amount. I just want a rewind back to zero, and get a clean slate!! Have taken on two part time jobs to get biweekly pay to offset my monthly pays. I can only do so much!! I am trying!! A few hundred dollars I am off....I am sure MY MONEY COVERED OTHER PEOPLES' TROUBLED TIMES OF A FEW HUNDRED DOLLARS OFF!!

I work for FNB so I'm obviously biased, but I have never had a better employer and as a customer I appreciate the comprehensive services - checking, savings, mortgage lenders and wealth management advisors all on site (plus small business and treasury services reps, but I've never utilized those services).

I had been a customer with Castle Bank for about ten years, but after the "upgrade" it was time to go. Everyone that works at the local branches are fantastic, but the new owner in Omaha treats the bank like a big bank that has poor online systems and a large amount of fees. I was actually sad to close my accounts, but the new system and fees would take too much time and money from me.
