My husband purchased a truck from Jackson’s in Sullivan, Il August 2022. We chose this 2008 Chevy Silverado because it had low miles and was very clean inside and out. We were told that it was fully inspected and they changed the rear brakes and the switch on the drivers side window.. They DID NOT, however, disclose the numerous oil leaks and several boot problems (to the tune of almost $2000 to repair). We had decided we would deal with that anyway. When we took this truck to a service center to look at and assess, they called right away. The entire frame was completely rusted and in many places clean through! We spoke with 2 different auto body/welding businesses, who said nothing outside of a new frame would fix this and there was no guarantee how long it would last! We went back to Jackson’s and demanded they take the truck back and cancel the deal. Their response was for us to buy yet another vehicle from them and “trade up”. Would you do business again with a business that was this dishonest and fraudulent? After making complaints to the Illinois Attorney General, Better Business Bureau and General Motors, they agreed to take the truck back, but only give us the original price of the truck. We still had to pay for the taxes and fees…. SO, $1500 lesson! NEVER deal with Jackson Cars Dealerships again, and always have another service center check out a used vehicle before a purchase. BUYER BEWARE!

I just purchased a car from Jacksons, and the customer service was by far the best I have ever had. Friendly team members that set out to find me the best deal possible and they delivered. I will definitely be back for my next car.

Don't buy from here. The sales men do not know much about the cars. We bought 2 used vehicles from them. 1 was good the second had lots of hidden problems. My wife had asked several times about the brake rotors and was informed the brakes were new. Well the brake pads had been replaced but the rotors were bad $800 we paid to replace 3 days after we bought it. The wife also asked about them putting a remote start on or taking the aftermarket one off her trade in and having it put on the new car. They said no problem they would look into it but would have to talk to the guy the next day as he was off. We were told they couldn't do it cause they can't work on Ford's. So $300 we paid to get that. My wife had also asked them about a noise from the rear of the car 3 days after we bought it. They looked at it but couldn't be sure what it was as they don't know about Ford's. And charged $80 to look at it. After talking with them for 2 weeks they finially got it to the Decatur store to look at. The clutch in the rear end was bad $800 to fix. After trying to get ahold of the sales manager for 2 days to see what they were going to do to help make this right like I had discussed with him before and he was going to look into what he could do. I told them to fix it. It took 15 days for them to get the work done . In that 15 day they gave my wife 2 loaner cars both came with empty gas tanks, 15 day I tried to contact Tyler the manager about 20 times and he never returned my calls. I was only contacted after the Decatur store asked for payment and I told them I was waiting to hear from Tyler. The Decatur store told the Sullivan store we refused to pay. After another week of talking to the Sullivan store they finally said they would pay for half. Don't spend your money here. They customer service is not very good to start with but after they have your money they are pretty much done with you at that point.
