“I can't say enough good things about the wonderful vets, tech, and staff at Sugar Grove Animal Hospital. Dr. Kovalick helped me with one of my senior cats with diabetes (we actually got him into permanent remission) and then an issue with his thyroid. She gave him many more happy days. When it was time to say good-bye to my sweet boy, Dr. Jebens and the whole staff were so compassionate and caring. Dr. Jess Szopinski just performed a delicate ear surgery on another of my senior boys and was able the clear much of the tissue growth that was blocking the ear canal and affecting his hearing. It was minimally invasive and he is like a different cat. Now I can get drops in the ear to keep it free from infections and he can hear again! Your precious pets will be in amazing, caring hands at Sugar Grove Animal Hospital, and they strive to keep their fees very reasonable and affordable.”

“Have been bringing my dogs here for 10 years. Dr. Cechner is professional and has a great way with dogs. She is a great diagnostician. As my dogs have now gotten older I'm also having doctor do chiropractic on them which is doing wonders. One of my dogs developed a slight droop on the right side of his face and lost his blink reflex in that eye. He is getting electro-acupuncture which has reversed the droop and had also brought back his blink reflex. The staff are wonderful with my dogs. Doctor and the staff are very caring. I will always bring my animals here.”

“Our experience with Dr. Brooks and Dr. Tab was excellent. We had been going there for over 10 years and I can honestly say they extended the life of our dog Teddy under their care. They were always there for us when we needed help especially towards the end of our dog's 14 years when we had some urgent needs. Every appointment was thorough and we always felt comfortable. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. We recently had to put our dog down and they were incredibly kind and patient during this process. I am honored to recommend Fox Valley Vet!”
“Dr. Ammon has cared for my family’s dogs since 1997, when we moved to the area. And even now that I live 6 hours away, I still bring my dogs to him for anything beyond routine medical care provided by my local vet.
He is caring, compassionate, thoughtful; he always explains things clearly and thoroughly; he has referred us to specialists when the issue was out of his wheelhouse; and I have always appreciated his candor and honesty when difficulties came up.
My Malamute Sasha had many medical issues over the years, and I believe the excellent care she received at Animal House contributed to her long life (13 years). (Sasha saw many vets at Animal House over her lifetime and they were all fantastic, but she especially loved Dr. Ammon.)
The administrative staff and vet techs are very friendly, caring, professional, and knowledgeable. Everyone there clearly cares deeply about animals.

He has finally graduated from all of the rehab and now gets to just go and swim and visit his favorite ladies! He is a whole new pup and is off of all his pain meds! “This is the second holistic vet I've take my puppy to and this time I felt like it was a truly holistic experience. Previous place recommended things such as Simperica Trio and there were no detox options or recommendations post vaccine. Autumn Green provided a homeopathic detox, went into an explanation of why certain foods should be avoided, even suggested switching out the water bowl to a material like glass.My puppy was scratching intensely and is on a raw diet, but I had no idea that fish oil should be avoided, which is found in SmallBatch.Overall a fantastic experience.”

“This is a late but well deserved review! FVAWL has the BEST STAFF I have ever encountered anywhere! Please ignore the one bad review on this page! They have neutered a pit mix for me 6 years ago. I had received several quotes from several of the well known animal clinics in the Aurora/Oswego area. The quotes were astronomical because it was for a pit mix. A friend gave me the phone number for FVAWL. I called and received a call back regarding my dog. I asked if there was an upcharge for a pit mix. There was not!! The neuter was based on weight! The cost was so affordable! Everything went well! The cost of the neuter, shots, chip, and meds was around $200! Fast forward to the present, they have now neutered my cat in 2021 and continue to provide yearly shots for him!!
The clinic is staffed by volunteers!! Instead of complaining, lend some for your time. I will be looking into volunteering myself.”

“I have selected a 5 . This is why, I move to the area about 5 years ago & I was looking for a veterinarian to take care of my wonderful dog Dolly. I wasn't sure about this new place but I was wrong. If u are looking for a veterinarian this would be the place to send your loved pet. They are very reasonable with prices, they also keep you updated on your pets vaccination's when due. In my case my dog was getting older & sick that my wife & I decided not to put her through her shots & other medical issues needed & they didn't push the issue also. All doctors & staff are A++. Our dog Dolly lived a long life. She was a beagle 17 years old. We didn't know what to do cuz my wife and I had to make a decision cuz dolly was very strong but not getting any better so we discussed with the doctor to help us decide what to do. the doctor said it can go on for a long time & she will not get any better. So we made decision to put Dolly down. The veterinarian made Dolly very comfortable for the procedure. We decided to have her cremated. We then got Dolly back home & she was in a wonderful mental box & they did her paw prints in a box also.My wife & I suggest this is the place to be. We will go back if decided to have another pet. Thank you again countryside veterinary for what you do.”

This is coming from some one whose had zero experience with acupuncture, let alone for animals, but after the last 6 months of treatment I've seen the remarkable effect its had on the quality of my senior disabled cat's life. “We have brought both our dogs and cat to Millbrook. They treat your pets with care and respect, and the owners too. Even a recent emergency was handled well, as our dog cut his ear bad enough to create considerable bleeding. The doctor stitched him up with minimum sedation, and the support staff helped calm down our sometimes reactive pet through both the examination and recovery. Our pup wound up wearing a wrap to keep his injured ear from getting worse, and it's all worked out. The price for these services was quite fair. I recommend this clinic quite highly.”
