This is a nice semi challenging course. I enjoy a round here several times a year.

The drainage on this course is terrible. We could be in a two week drought and it will still be flooded.

They have very good food, but the icing on the cake was Ripped Jeans playing tonight. The reason we were going there. Such an entertaining and young duo. Oh ya, the jambalaya was excellent to!

This was my first time golfing on an actual golf course, I’ve done a driving range and mini golf before, but never a full course. It was recommended to me and my friends that this was a great course for a first time golfer. False. I was the only female golfing with a group of males. This was supposed to be a fun learning experience. At hole 8 we were yelled at by the course Marshall saying we were golfing too slow because both of our groups were together. He yelled and said we would be stopped at 9 holes. I dropped by the club house to explain that I was the one causing the slowness and that I apologized. He told me no one golfer could slow a group down. I said we could let the group behind us “play through” that we don’t mind at all. He stated you should never let a group play through. I then said our group was playing faster doubled up as I took 20 swings to their 10. His response was let them play through then. But before he said never to do that. He then also told me to just pick up my ball and skip some shots, frustrating as I was trying to learn. He spoke to me as if I did not understand anything - I may not understand golf so I can understand a seasoned golfers response or frustration (we were 30 minutes behind average 9 holes so I understand), but I have never felt more disrespected or not included. The way we were yelled at on the course and spoken to at the clubhouse discouraged me from participating in the back 9 completely. For a rookie or new golfer (even athletically skilled) I would NOT recommend.

Nice course. Only 5500 yards but some challenging holes and hazards. Rough is high. Fairways in good shape and greens roll nice. Would play again.

First time playing here. Good course for us novice players. I struggled but I suck. Nonetheless I did enjoy myself along with some of the obstacles the presented themselves on some of the holes. I will be back.
