Frank's Pet Shop is a premier pet store in Streator, IL, now in a new, larger location. It is considered the premiere spot in LaSalle county for all things pets, with a state of the art facility featuring separate climate-controlled rooms for birds, reptiles, and furry animals. The shop carries a wide selection of food and supplies for birds, cats, dogs, reptiles, small pets, and fish. It has the largest selection of raw diets in the area with a strong emphasis on holistic natural care, homeopathic and herbal remedies, and nutritional support. The selection includes a mid-sized assortment of reptiles and a very small but surprising section of invertebrates like tarantulas and scorpions. It is really the only local place to get live feeders, both insect and rodent. The knowledgeable and incredibly helpful staff provide great customer service and pet care, offering nutritional counseling and answering any questions. All the pets for sale show cleanliness and well-kept habitats. While prices can be a little higher than expected and the enclosures are adequate for display, the shop sells all odds and ends of reptile, fish, and mammal supplies, including tanks. They also have deals for cash versus credit payments. The associates are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and kind, treating everyone with respect. Frank's Pet Shop is highly recommended for everyone from beginners to seasoned pet owners.
Great experience at Frank's Pet Shop! Went in only looking for crickets for our new Leopard Gecko, left with a wealth of knowledge thanks to their Reptile specialist! The ladies there are sooo beyond helpful every visit, thank you!!!

Knowledgeable staff great selection of Pet feeders and all of the pets that are for sale show cleanliness and well kept habitat. Highly recommend if you wanna make sure you’re feeding your little guys clean while taking care of food.
