Changing my 5 star review because this is what I asked for versus what I got — I arrived at for a scheduled pedicure at 9:50 which took about 2 hours. It was wonderful. The gentleman who did my pedicure was very good, however, side note, a week before he did an acrylic filled (hands) for me. I had gotten my nails done red by the new owner, but 3 or 4 nails popped off a day later. So the gentleman did the fill, but he made the ones he replaced so large that I was unable to type. Also the shape did not match the other nails...So I had to come back in a 3rd time.Very frustrating, but again he was very good at pedicures. Also, not to be rude, but he had very sweaty hands. While I was getting my fill for the red nails, his hands were perspiring all over my hands. Thank goodness they tell you to wash your hands when you’re done. And this is not to shame him. It’s a sanitation issue/it’s very uncomfortable but gloves would alleviate that. After that, I was put in the chair for a manicure…which took over 3 hours…Before I shared the rest of the experience, does the photo on the right look like it should take three hours, because that’s how long I was in the chair.I showed a photo of what I wanted to the new owner and she took a picture of it for reference.I had on old grown out acrylic nails, which she saw. I thought she would remove the old ones and replace with new ones. Maybe I had to ask for that, so I did. She removed them, and put new ones on. I told her that I wanted coffin shape and she told me it would be an extra charge which I agreed to.As you can see in the photo on the right, they were more rectangular shape. I even pulled up a photo on Google to show her.Going back-and-forth with her to make them more coffin shape, I just settled on the shape because I had to leave soon. She painted my nails two or three different shades of pink, because the paint was coming out more sheer, and very splotchy, which, I had not experienced before. She would put it under the UV light, but the paint job was still splotchy, and that you could see through the nail and you could see the streak marks of the paint. She kept putting my fingers under the UV light, I’m not exaggerating, maybe 7 to 10 times per hand, because she would paint one nail, and then put it under. (I’m aware of the negative effects of UV light and understand that when you get your nails done, it comes with some risk, but it’s usually only under the light one or two times, so this was concerning). And as you can see in the photo, the paint job was not up to par, but I didn’t wanna keep putting my hand under the UV light, also I had already been there 3 hours, Which was long enough for them to offer me water, and food. While I was appreciative, I just wanted to get out of there because it should not have taken that long with the results that I got.The total came to $180. $42 for the pedicure, and I guess they charge for paint which they didn’t say that. They just show you the book and it gives you $42. But they charged me 60 or 65.Then my manicure came to $80.They normally cost 50 or 55 but also charge extra for the shape, even though it was not the shape that I paid for.Plus I left a $30 tip. Why?I’m still asking myself that.Honestly, I should’ve fought harder to have the price come down because this experience was not worth $175, but because I was so tired and hungry from sitting in the chair for almost 5 hours, plus I was in a rush to get out of there because they held me so long and I needed to be somewhere at 3 PM and it was 2:49 PM when I left, plus I kept telling her and showing her what I wanted, and I felt ignored.

My Fav is Chai. He is great! Soft presence and gentle techniques. He doesn’t talk a lot but is conversational if you will. About to book my next appointment right now. I can’t leave out how peaceful the atmosphere is at this location.

Do not go here. Worst customer service ever they take too long they’re rude and I got a pedicure and they kept stopping to do a other person nails, and they didn’t even turn out good they were sloppy mind you I booked appointment at five and then I start doing my pedicure until 6:15 and she was rushing the whole time, and I didn’t even get the full service. I’m so disappointed I will be coming back for my refund. Don’t recommend I will never be coming back there and she was rushing my acylics they came out, uneven and ugly not even squared tapered when I ask for square, TaperedServices: Acrylic nails

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I wanted to give the place a try when I walked in no one greeted nor did they ask me what service I needed. This isn’t my first pedicure in my life so I went and proceeded to choose my color. I went and took a seat still had no one talk to me. I waited for around 20 minutes for some sort of interaction. Someone walked in she was greeted immediately and informed that the wait was long. How come no one ask or informed me what I needed very disappointing to know the ladies are biased based on race.

Had a previously negative experience with previous management at VIP. But just went now because I saw it was under new management and was really impressed. New manager-Beebee and nail technician-Alina made a skeptic a believer in this salon again! I got a deluxe pedicure and Alina took her time, did a great foot and leg massage, and my toes look awesome! I definitely will come back again.
