Staff is great but nothing in this bank works, atms don’t take cash for deposits, you can’t link external accounts. By far the worst financial institution out here. Don’t waste your time and money here

We have been working with this location for about 3 years in total now and other than our very last interaction with a wonderful teller named Merrijo (not sure I spelled that correctly) who was warm, friendly, kind and thorough, executing everything perfectly, every other interaction has been has been less than stellar. Poor training seems to be at the heart of many of the issues and a lack of common courtesy for other issues, i.e. asking a 92 year old to stand with a walker for their entire transaction when opening up a CD. The worst part is that the manager of this location doesn't answer her phone, doesn't return phone calls and never sent something in the mail that was promised even after follow ups. So for all these reasons, this last transaction will be our very last.

Try zelling my employees for their hours worked … I couldn’t ! It said I had reached my limit and I hadn’t even sent money for the last 3 days ..Another time on a Friday I tried zelling same employees and it said money wouldn’t be available until Tuesday !!!Sometimes it wouldn’t even let me zelle $200Tired of it I called customer service and they said I could only Zelle $3000 per month ????? ITS MY MONEY !!!! Who are you to tell me I can’t do so ? They say it’s because Zelle works like that .. no it doesn’t we have also chase and never have we ever had this issue .Right now we went to the atm to WITHDRAW money and it says our transactions are not available at this moment ..I’m totally done with you guys . Never ever again.Tomorrow I’m going in to withdraw all my money .

I have worked in the CU industry for over a decade and had accounts at several credit unions for different purposes. I’m a strong believer in finding a credit union that works for you. This credit union was Andigo at one point which I absolutely loved, and ever since they merged with consumers I had nothing but issues. I brought my home loan and car loan over to them for the lower rates but the service I received after the fact has been extremely disappointing. When I called in with issues, my request to be transferred to a manager In a branch or any manager at all was denied. I was on the phone - several calls- all over 40 minutes refusing me a manager call back. No branch manager, no manager of the call center, no VP of branches … no one. The seriously refused me a manager. Told me the branches don’t take phone calls… After attempting a balance transfer and being lied to that it would not carry a fee, I saw a $168 fee for the transfer. First of all, I have not seen any other credit unions charge a balance transfer fee - that’s what banks do. and second, instead of offering me to waive a portion of the fee or refunding this to me, they told me they could just cancel the balance transfer. Obviously they didn’t want the business, and the customer service was absolutely terrible. I ended up with a “lead” at the call center Desiree or something to that nature. I do not recommend this credit union and I’m disappointed I brought my loans to them. I won’t be referring anyone else over here.

I live in Kentucky. Because of the rates and excellent service I receive, Consumers is my primary financial institution. I have a couple of checking accounts, one with a 4.09% APR with my credit card spend. I also have a Smart Saver account that earns over 2.00%. Awesome experience over the end of last week and the weekend with their loan department. Needed to buy a car to help with gas. My commute to work is 100 miles each way.Super easy approval process. Applied online. Approved the next day. Finding the car I wanted was tough and actually took me to Chicago. Submitted everything to Heather at the end of last week she got everything squared away. I even received some emails past 8pm. That’s dedication. Flew into Chicago this morning. As promised, the check was waiting on me at the Streamwood branch. I and my Uber driver literally only stopped for 30 seconds. I cannot say enough great things about Heathers service and the overall experience this credit union provides. Extremely thankful for Consumers.

Worst service! Very, very, very long telephone waits and sometimes they say they can't help you because they cannot verify you after all the info you gave them! Also at the branch they take a long time counting deposits by face and fixing and organizing all the cash bills, may not seem like a big deal, but deposit something more than 25 bills and you will see the annoying wait times add up! My longest wait while they fixed by bills was close to 30 minutes, additionally they sneak overdraft charges on you, so be careful!

Fair rates friendly staff and Great service!I joined Andigo to take advantage of a bonus promotion that they always have going. After several months of being a member and using their service, I enjoyed Andigo so much I decided to make it my primary financial institute, and I said goodbye to those big banks forever. My wife and kids also have accounts and we all received nice bonus promotions and love the special perks Andigo has offered.

Someone needs to review the automated phone system... The prompt for the hours is an ad, the one to talk to someone goes nowhere... Took a chance and went to the branch and it was closed... Big waste of time... Do better Andigo! *My Reply after Andigo's...Not sure how to send a private message (suggested in their response)... Then saw that on multiple posts... Made me wonder if anyone can actually do that or was it just something to post so it looks like they actually care? Thought what I posted needed no more discussion, but action from someone from Andigo?I fell for it again :(Went by the branch (21521) before the posted closing time and AGAIN... It was closed! Glad to see the original post was replied to but not one thing has changed... That's poor customer service!
