Very bad service very dirty I don't recommend going to this store no employee's wants to help you food sometimes is out of date got sick from the food at the deli overall bad experience

I'm usually not one to leave reviews, but I had a really great experience today & just had to. After managing to lose my cart while shopping..associates were not only kind enough to help me search- one person even went & got fresh produce to replace the items I had lost (if you're reading this, sorry I didn't get your name to highlight you properly lol). Thank you for the help & definitely recommend this location!

The deli hours on the jewel website says 9pm, arrived around 830pm and was told they close at 8pm. Please update your hours so customers don't come here for nothing like I did.

Sandy B who works at the customer service desk is racist. She discriminates against hispanics and has an attitude issue. She talks to the customers like shes in the streets. Worse personality and rude to her teammates, I wont be returning to that store!

I occasionally go to this jewels and buy chicken and produce , but today I went in and ordered chicken from the deli and asked the deli worker for certain cooked pieces of chicken , when I get home the pieces were different and not cooked at all the skin was stretchy and chewy not grilled or roasted. Not sure if something has changed there but, you guys need to fix this.

They whole meat department smells bad everything smells like it’s rotten and spoiled meat the director racism the store needs too be shut down

I've been a patron for over 15 years. I went today and bought some stuff and forgot a bag with a country crock tub of butter that I paid $7.00 and some change. I forgot it and went back for it. I was told that I couldn't get another one because I used the self check out and no one turned it in. I showed her the receipt with the item and time on it and the answer was still no. Said I can come back tomorrow and speak with one of the managers but none of them are working tomorrow. So why did she even tell me to come back tomorrow? Very unprofessional and no etiquette. Very disappointed with the staff there at this point. I'd rather drive to the LaGrange Jewel than the one in my neighborhood.Only posting one star because I have to in order to post my comment.

I have been going to this jewel for a few years. It's always a pleasure until I felt racially profiled. I went in the store and spoke to a manager about a sale and he identified the sale to be valid until the end of day. I tried to purchase something and was confronted and told me i can only purchase 12 items. Thinking 12 items of that product. So I minimized my order to 12 of one product. As the employee can back he told me that I can only purchase 12 items in total. I was trying to buy things for a party and they denied me my other items that were over 12. This has been the worst experience to be told I can only buy 12 items.. Racism is a double standard..

I've been going to this location for years but lately the service here is so bad. Not once but three times in the pass 6 months that the Deli Counter didn't have fried chicken ready. On April 9th, 2022, I noticed no fried chicken and so I asked the woman behind the counter how long, she states 10min. After about 10min of standing there, no one acknowledged me until I finally asked how long will it take. By this time, more customers are waiting. The older woman behind the counter said 20min (on top of the 10min I already had) I had enough of this. It's dinner time and you don't have any fried chicken available? I understand that they are full filling pre-orders but at least have some available for customers who just walk in. The Deli Counter here is a mess. I spoke to the manager of the store on duty and he was useless. Went to the Deli Counter and came back and told me the info I already knew. I rather drive to another Jewel Osco than deal with this again.

Normally I don't really have anything bad to say about the store, but Saturday night, 3/26, something happened that to me is just wrong. There was a sign by a display that read : Kellogg's Family Size Cereal, 17 -24 oz., Regular Price 6.49 each, Must Buy Multiples of 2, 3.99 ea, Mix & Match Save $5.00 on 2, 20.6 per ounce, So I grabbed Cocoa Krispies and Frosted Flakes. Both boxes said family size; both were within the weight parameters. For some reason I had a hunch that there was going to be a problem so I had the cashier ring those items up first, and as I assumed they rang up at their normal prices. The cashier called over a woman from customer service (which was right by the register). She just said that those cereals were not not included in the sale. I stated that there was nothing that said only certain items were included in the sale. She repeated - Like I said, those items are not included. She also said that it was "the second time I've gone through this today and I'm not going through it again," and walked away. There was nothing apologetic in her tone at all. Michael the cashier was very polite and courteous and apologized for the screw-up. (It's further stupid because the regular prices of the items were $6.49 or less which was the regular price posted on the sign.)So why/ how can a store put up a sign saying certain items are on sale, but then charge full price and say "Sorry. Even though our sign says that those items are on sale, they really aren't. We just decided to keep it a secret." Most people would probably not notice the error, or not notice it until they got home at which point they'd say screw it, and Jewel basically ripped them off. On top of that the "Customer Service" person either is in the wrong job or was having a bad day. Not the end of the world as far as complaints go, but it was a blatantly wrong thing for the store to be doing and certainly wasn't handled well.

10/4/2021 Is this a special day? I can't get near the store! No handicapped parking spots & then the rest aren't even close! They took all of the handicapped spaces on the other end of the lot to put the pickup & go spaces, so can't park there either.I guess it's just as well. They probably won't have what I need on the shelves anyway.
