They have signs that say apply or use your FORD credit card ; but when you go to use a FORD credit card they charge a 3% charge to use it ! I contacted Ford motor company and they said. they have many other dealers that don't charge the rip off fee to do service business with them and that I should take my ford services to many other ford dealers that welcome the bussiness with a FORD credit card with out a fee!!!

I bought a car this dealership was selling on Manheim auction, it's a 2014 ford Escape , the car was running and shift great at the auction (it had a check engine light) we can't diagnose the car in Manheim so i didn't know what was the problem but it runs great so what's the worst thing that could be ! I won the car then left it at Manheim for 4 days till the payment was processed, on the day i picked it up it the check engine was cleared which is suspicious , it sounded way different than before after i got it out the auction it start showing me transmission fault , engine temperature too high then the car turned off by itself on the highway.!! I had to tow it now I'm dealing with lot's of codes that's really expensive to fix ! SCAM

Make sure you take the vehicle to another shop before buying, still not happy with the vehicle I bought from them. Wish I had four hands to give these guys four thumbs down.

I bought a car from them, they said nothing was wrong with it. We were never outside of it when it was running. When we finally were it has a exaust leak. Called the dealership numerous times all I got was voice-mail. Called the corporate office and left a voice mail. And a miracle happened the dealership gm called me and said they could look at it. Brought it down, service said they were busy and to make appointment. Talked to the gm in person, and another miracle happened, it got looked at. The service manager said that it just needed a spot welded, a pipe fixed. And that they'll call. Well no more miracles, I called dow to ask what was up, and service was clueless as to who I was. To it to a local shop and was informed that it was the original welded stainless exaust. To fix it to back to factory would be alot. To replace with after market would still not be cheap. But parts are not interchangeable. So I'm getting fixed on my own, and getting a attorney. 120 something spot check, If they did check it, they either missed it or were to cheap to fix it, I should have known better, the last car I bought from kunes. The finance guy added a warranty after the purchase

Really hate to write this review, because I truly believed "better" was to be expected here. To start with the good and the only reason this dealer isn't getting a 1 star.. Dealer went out of their way to accommodate me as I was flying into Chicago to buy a used vehicle in their inventory. They offered to pick me up at the airport, which was truly above and beyond. Ed, the driver, was a sheer pleasure to work with both in communication at pickup and on the nearly 2 hour drive to the dealer. The rest.. 1 star. To begin with, I chose this vehicle due to a competitive price with all of the options I was looking for. Worked with my sales rep, who initially seemed of good quality. Knowing the distance I would be traveling to get this vehicle, (650 miles,) I did my due diligence in asking for a walk around video with descriptions of any issues. In fairness, I did not expect a garage queen as was a commercial vehicle with relatively higher mileage. As I always do, I asked the sales rep for a walk around video to reveal any "surprises" I might see when arriving. Sales rep did take a video, but in fairness, was WICKEDLY deceptive in the angles and such. The 2 biggest issues revealed cosmetically, once I arrived, were intentionally left out of the video. On all of the panels of this vehicle, only ONE panel did not require either PDR or serious need for repaint. EVERY other panel, beat to hell. Interior.... TERRIBLE.. Leather torn, seat backs literally ruined due to improper care. NONE of this ever mentioned by the sale rep or shown in the dealer pictures... Any other franchise dealer, would have auctioned this vehicle as opposed to putting in their inventory.. Mechanically, this vehicle had their "125 point inspection," which apparently needed to be about a 130 point inspection, because even on the test drive, sales rep acknowledged the brakes were bad... (Found out both front rotors were warped with the front pads due for IMMEDIATE replacement.) Front right shock was blown and leaking fluid, in need of immediate replacement. None of this, discovered in their inspection, OR they just chose to ignore these serious issues. Sales rep and management GRACIOUSLY offered to take $200 off, "knowing" the value of this vehicle, stating worth some obnoxious, COVID bubble price point... But otherwise telling me there was nothing they could do.. (After my 1.5 hour shuttle ride to the Atlanta airport, 2 hour flight to Chicago, and 2 hour ride to the dealer, KNOWING there was not even an option of a rental car out of this tiny little farm town the dealer was in. Initially, this vehicle was a "good deal," after the work required to get it... as expected, I could have done better locally. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone looking to buy, especially when buying from afar.
