“Today I went to visit a friend for the first time at Dixon Correctional facility. When I left the four hour visit, a fan under the hood of my car was still running and my battery was dead as a doornail.I have jumper cables, but a prison parking lot didn’t feel like the kind of place you wander around asking strangers for help.I called AAA but they couldn’t find any tow trucks within a 90 mile radius. So I called you guys because your website mentioned roadside assistance. The lovely woman who answered the phone said there was no one available. I asked if she could recommend another tow company and explained (somewhat panicked) that I’m from Chicago and I have no idea where I am or what I’m going to do.She put me on hold and then came back to say she’s got a guy but it’ll be about 20 minutes. I told her I’d already been waiting an hour so 20 minutes sounded like a dream.Sure enough, 20 minutes later a nice man in a red truck pulled up and jumped my car in one try. I called to pay, thanked everyone profusely, and was on my way!I couldn’t believe the kindness of your team in figuring out a way to get me home.”
“They did a good job on my VW after a run in with a deer. Took time but thats expected with getting parts for GTI that was made still in Germany. One door was a little off after they reassembled, and took it over and they readjusted right there quick no problem. Friendly people. Dixon VW recomended them.”
