The best selection in all of Sterling, but would get a two out of 10 at any place that was cultured. I bought a Chianti, trusting that somebody in that store had tasted it, vetted it to see if it was acceptable. Apparently they did not. It was the worst Chianti I have ever had in my life. I drink lots of wine, judge, many wine, write about them and have taught many classes on wine, including here in Sterling. Looks like I am going to have to open up wine classes locally just to improve on the market and wine understanding of the populace here. There is some money in this town, and it should invest in a better knowledge of the community on wine, possibly certifying people to be able to consult customers on the wine. This store falls far short on Wine. I would have to look at their selection of bourbon and scotch to tell you more.

Yes, liquor store had the best wine selection I have seen in this town. But that is not saying much. Sterling needs to wake up and improve its understanding of wine. Maybe I will teach classes here just to make that happen. I bought a Chianti, thinking that maybe somebody tasted it to see if it was any good. It's the worst Chianti I have had in my life. I wasted every dime on it, though it wasn't very expensive. It is clear to me that the store that has no idea how to choose wine and does not have proper people tasting it. In fact, this possibly could be the worst bottle of wine I have ever had. Last time I will go there. Tomorrow we will go to. Kroger's because even though they don't have much either, at least they vet their wines.

Fine little liquor store. They carry the pecan flavored bourbon that I like. Good selection for size.

The guy who works here is my favorite, he is super friendly and very helpful. The other workers are nice too, but he goes above and beyond for me. I won't buy alcohol anywhere else.
