Went for wheel alignment nothing else was wrong with my car I already had it inspected when I came back to get my car the wheel alignment was not done and magically I have an oil leak and a coolant leak and have to pay for an inspection I did not want nor ask for

My drivers headlight played games during week so brought to DAVE at Scott’s explained situation asked for both to be changed since I turn on and off at same time Dave agreed. Said my tire rotation due. Dave is GREAT always takes good care of my 2013 Hyundai sonata

I was referred to this shop by my nephew and I was very impressed by my advisor Kelly. I was kept informed about the work, condition of my tires. When time came that the work was complete, I was picked up by an employee, escorted to the shop and was greeted with the same courtesy. I’m one happy camper.

Will rip you off, not trustworthy. Does not warranty services such as diagnostics. There are many red flags with this place. They will change parts until they replaced every part to figure out your problem. That is an injustice to people who invest in their cars to go to work and travel. Save your money by not giving Scott’s u save a chance AT ALL. They're good for changing your tires, IF THAT I wouldn’t go here for actual problems with your vehicle or for maintenance. So far management is quite defensive when it comes to the question, “what if I paid you to look for my problem and you charge me for a solution that doesn’t solve my problem, what will you do then?” To which I was replied with, “additional charges for diagnostics” isn’t that what I paid for the first time was a full diagnostics? Bunch of clowns working here who are unprofessional and I hope gets shut down.

I have been going to Scott’s U Save for years I’ve taken multiple cars for everything from oil changes, new tires and any and all car repairs I’ve spend thousands and thousands of dollars here I’ve sent friends and family here my friends and family took my recommendations and took their vehicles here and to be honest most were unhappy and didn’t go back I continued my business here then I found out an Aunt took here truck to Scott’s u Save in Steger, il. they charged here over $400 for a mount in her motor and several months later another automotive shop did work on her truck and told her that the work was in fact never done by Scott’s U Save and when she confronted Scott’s about it they told her they could go ahead and do the work for her now? But it was supposed to have been done already and she was charged for it when they said they’d done the work. She stopped doing business with them, I still continued my business with Scott’s up until today 8/1/2024 took my car in for a check engine light the charged me $156 for a diagnostic check and then quoted me $3,000 for removal and replacement of a catalytic converter. I then took my car to 2 other automotive muffler shops and I called 2 other different ones and went by the paperwork Scott’s gave me for the work that needed to be done and NONE of them came close to what Scott’s U Save was charging me one of them even asked who and where charged me the $3,000 dollars and they said there had many former customers of Scott’s U Save come to them with similar complaints of feeling ripped off. I was a very loyal and trusting customer of Scott’s U Save for many years, for multiple vehicles and thousands of dollars later I will never go back to Scott’s U Save
