I just came out of the Steger DG and needed to write a review right away. Marque is definitely a keeper. He greets you on your way in the store and checks people out with great customer service. If I was still in management I would want to steal him from you

South Chicago Heights: Prices on shelf different than what it rings up. Coupons clipped not going towards purchase. Asst. Manager no help with coupons even though I pulled up the coupon and showed her.. Needless to say I will shop elsewhere.

Employees are very unfriendly and unpleasant and do not want to honor sale prices and coupons. Do better Dollar General provide more training in customer service on how to provide joyful service. Everyone wants a job but doesn’t want to do the work.

Do not place a pick up order with coupons to this store! People that work there were fine however seems to have to many issues on Saturdays with online orders.! Clipped about $60 in coupons one Saturday and when got there to pick up the site was down and none of my order was done and they could not pull up to do my order. Ended up going somewhere else. Tonight Saturday went to the same Dollar General to get an online order that I had $30 in coupons on and their scanner was not working so yada yada yada. Store associate called manager and we decided to pick all my items ourselves and ring up at register. After doing that none of my original coupons came up because I had used them on online order. So decided to wait for online order to cancel, to do order in store. Order was canceled and I went to check my coupons back out and only one coupon came back..... Needless to say this store is not good for coupon orders. Go to store and shop yourself!!!

While this location can be crowded at times with items that need to be stocked but it is kept clean and the home decor area/display is ALWAYS KEPT ATTRACTIVE.The cashiers at this location are some of the friendliest group of individuals.They are ALWAYS kind and very friendly to me I have gone to this location several times because it is kept clean and staff is SOOO POLITE.

Small convenience store. EDIT* I will no longer shop here as the stocking situation has deteriorated terribly. I've shopped here over the past week and the stock has not gotten any better if anything it's worse. Fix your store people. This includes Crete and Park Forest Illinois.
