They gave me the wrong medication. When I confronted them they told me it was a different manufacturer. Feeling a bit cautious from the research I've done and reading over and over that its not the same, I went over to the CVS down the street and got a second opinion. They confirmed It was indeed the wrong medication. I went back to Sullivan's to confront them again and not only did they lie again but they also argued with me that I was wrong, it wasn't until I mentioned that I had went down the street to CVS to get a second opinion and they told me otherwise, they got quite. They can seriously hurt or kill someone who wouldn't think twice before taking a medication, thinking it just a "different manufacture" and not doing the research on it like I did. I would have recommended this pharmacy to anyone before, but not after them messing up their line of career.

I've been going to Sllivans Drug in Staunton Il for over a year now. Before my experience today I would have recommended then. Now, absolutely not. I picked up my medication of 20 mg escitalopram. All was good until I went home and noticed when it came to take my medication it was not the normal pill I was normally given. My normal pill is a white pill with p20 on it. The pill I had received in my bottle labeled Escitalopram was a yellow pill with a S 11 on it. My husband and I did some research before I took the pill and come to realize it's not the correct medication. I went through the drive through at Sullivans and explain the situation. A young lady took my pill bottle and went and spoke to some one regarding it. A few momments later she came back and informed me they are the same medications just a different manufacturer. She gave me the bottle back apologized for the misunderstanding and I left. I called my husband and explained the situation of what I had been told. Neither of us felt like I had been told the correct information from all research we did and i really didnt want to take the medication and get hurt without really knowing for sure. I decied I would get a second opinion. I went over to CVS down the road and spoke to a gentleman at the counter of the pharmacy. He as well explained the situation of it potentially being a different manufacturer but did check for me. He took the bottle with my consent grabbed a pill and started to search on his computer. After a few min of him looking he grabbed the medication and spoke to I assume the Pharmacist and explained the situation. She then grabbed the bottle and did some research as well. A min. later the gentleman who I spoke to first hands me the bottle confirming I was correct and It was NOT the right medication. He explained that the small number on the bottom, very right side of the bottle didnt matched the medication that should be in there. (Meaning wrong number to pill in bottle.) I thanked him for his time and left. I went back to Sullivans. This time I went inside. I spoke to the male pharmacist that worked there today around 2:10pm. I explained my situation to him as going back and forth and that I know for a fact this isn't the correct medication manufacturer or not. He grabbed the bottle and looked inside. He then went and grabbed a medication, realized it was wrong and went back to swap it, he did this 2 times Before grabbing the correct medication. He brought the medication over for me to look at and said "I'm not sure if this is what you are used to taking but they are the same thing. you can probbaly tell better then i can what it says on the pill" I looked at the pill and that was indeed the correct pill I normally take. But tell me why this man the PHARMACISTS who puts the pills together is telling me he can't see what the pill says to make sure it has P20 on it? isn't that his job? That gave me the impression that he may not even really know or care what he is giving his patients. I responded saying that was correct. I asked him what the pill that was in there previous was, the one with the S 11 on it that was yellow. because it's not the same thing. Then a women working behind the counter says under her breath "it is the same tho". I went off. I told her to call CVS and speak to them because cleary that's not the case or I wouldn't be here for the second time after being told by them (CVS) it wasn't the correct mediation and explained that they could seriously hurt someone or even kill them due to a situatuon like this. She got quiet and walked away. The male pharmacisit responds with "i belelive you." As if what i was saying was not correct even tho i check 2 locations. The male pharmacist handed me my bottle, I opened and made sure it was correct and he then showed me the bottle of the pills he refiled my bottle with. It was correct. I thanked him and left. Through the process of being told I was wrong by 2 people at sullivans who should know what they are giv

OMG! I absolutely loved this store. It may be in a small country town, but you'd never know it. The merchandise is trendy and upscale. They have Nora Fleming and Hallmark cards, which are two of my favorite things. The customer service was excellent. The ladies working were so friendly and helpful. I need to also give a shout out to the young man pharmacist, who was patiently explaining a medicare plan to a customer. It was as if he were helping his own grandmother. Whenever I am in Sparta, I will stop by. I may even make a special trip to just shop here. Yep, I was that impressed with all their goodies.

I just started going back about 6 months ago. I switched company's and insurance. I was told they did not take my insurance. Today I found out they have been charging me out of pocket and they do take my secondary insurance. Anyone know a good lawyer?

Just switched over to Sullivan's due to trouble at other pharmacy getting things filled or just getting pharmacist on the phone. They hurried and got my meds filled that I had been trying to get filled for almost two weeks. Thank you Sullivan's for being kind and having the meds that I needed.
