My dog tore his ccl and meniscus. They were able to get him a prompt assessment with same day surgery. Dr. Cook used less invasive surgery than a tplo. Very impressed.

Dr. Cook and his staff are simply amazing. They're caring, communicate well and accommodating. Our 10 year old Australian Shepard had a full tear of his CCL. Our vet gave us a couple referrals to surgeons but none provided the tightrope procedure. We felt the TPLO procedure was far too invasive for a 10-year-old dog so we decided to go with Dr. Cook and are so happy with our choice.

This is the second knee they have repaired for my dog. They care about your pet as much as you do. They are always available if you have questions any time after the surgery.

We were recommended to see Dr. Cook at this location when our dog tore his CCL. Oliver received the tightrope CCL repair and we are incredibly pleased with how well it went. The wait was kind of long originally to get in, but we said we were flexible, so when someone else canceled our consultation and surgery was moved up which was wonderful. The surgery was very expensive which was expected- and they were very helpful with me needing to use multiple forms of payment which was nice. I was very pleased with the follow-up care. Oliver had some trouble keeping a cone on and ended up needing a couple of stitches- and the office communicated regularly with us via text to help us get through. Oliver is now in the rehab stage and the surgery clearly went really well. I would highly recommend this location- they really care about the pets and provide all of the help you need to get your pet through.

Everyone is great here. Our dog, Lucy, your her ACL (CCL in dogs) and they did the surgery to repair it. It was orthoscopic surgery, which has a shorter recovery time period. It was out patient surgery, so she was back home the same afternoon They walked us through every step that would be taken and how to take care of Lucy when we got her home. It's had now been 5 weeks since the surgery and she is using the leg almost 100% of the time. I was very impressed and would highly recommend Dr. Cook and the whole staff.

My dog Sven tore his Cranial Cruciate ligament in both knees when he was just a little over one years old. Dr. Cook performed both surgeries, and if I had to describe him in three words, they would be Experienced, Knowledgeable, and Informative. It was highly stressful to decide which type of procedure to go with—Tightrope, TPLO, or TTA. In the end, I firmly believe that it's who performs the surgery that matters the most. Dr. Cook only does the Tightrope, which worked very well on Sven, who is 70lbs.If you are searching for a vet to repair your pup's Cranial Cruciate ligament, I highly recommend Dr. Cook based on my experience. It's been over six years, and no issues with Sven's knees.Dr. Cook and his team also treated my other dog Zazu when he came in for emergency service a couple of months ago after being seriously injured by another dog at a daycare causing 12 punctures, deep cuts, and terrible bruising. They started treating him before I received a call from the daycare informing me of what had happened.Highly recommend him!

We have a large German Shepperd Dog who tore her CCL. After researching the various options for repair we discovered Dr. Cook at Valley Vet Surgery. We could not be happier with Dr. Cook and his staff. Our dog was walking on day two on her repaired leg and her recovery has been so smooth. We could not be happier!

I couldn’t be more pleased with Dr Cook and his staff, Gracie is five weeks into her second CCL repair. Her right leg went last year and 10 months later her left one tore. Her first surgery was a success and now she’s recovering from the second surgery. After both surgeries Dr Cook called us and gave us a detailed report of what he did and on the follow up visit he was thorough also. I highly recommend Dr Cook.
