I don’t trust any place other than going here to get my jewelry and coins appraised. Most pawn shops want to squeeze the most out of you for very little payout. After visiting this store, I’ve learned so much about the value of gold, silver, money older than 1964 and I genuinely look forward to my brief history lessons on jewelry designs from various decades. If you want something quick and cheap, go anywhere else. But if you want to go to a facility where you feel like an old family friend and can build trust, I 100% recommend STC Cash for Gold and Silver!

I declined his offer of 90% spot price when gold was trending higher in price. No doubt he would sell it for 5% over spot immediately. Get better prices for selling precious metals at any local coin dealer.

Ron was very thorough in evaluating my four boxes of silver serving ware, even tho most if it was silver plated and of little value. I trust him and would go back there with other valuables.

We had some old silver plated items stored in the garage and forgotten about.Took them to Ron and he explained that the cooper under the plating had value and made a reasonable offer which we accepted. I would do business again with this company.

What a great experience. I went here to sell a 14k gold herringbone bracelet that had a lot of sentimental value.I had to sell my gold to help an amazing friend of mine pay a school district $100 for a repair on a school-issued laptop lin order for her son to be able to graduate from 2nd grade. Ron, the owner here, offered me $75 which I thought was extremely fair, but when I mentioned the situation my friend was in he immediately raised his offer to $100 so I could help my friend as much as possible and take care of the whole bill. I was very humbled and so happy to have come here to sell my bracelet. I’ll miss the bracelet, but I’m glad that Ron gave me such great service and I don’t regret selling it.A business who sees customers as people and not just dollar signs is rare these days, and Ron at STC Gold & Silver is a great example of a local business that truly cares about his customers.I highly recommend anyone with any gold or sterling silver gathering dust and who'd like a little extra cash to stop by here and say hi and see what kind of cash they can walk out with. First visit -- Went to Ron for a quote on buying a 14k gold 20 inch necklace. I had received a quote from State Street Jewelers and wanted to get a second opinion. He gave me his offer (was $3 higher) and then asked me if I was in a hurry to sell. I was not. He advised me to wait until gold prices went up and get a better price. Honest and excellent advice! I did wait, prices went up and I went back to Ron -- his higher offer was very fair and I accepted.Second visit - I went to Ron to see if he wanted to buy my diamond stud earrings. Again - he offered great advice. I had a recent appraisal and he said if I tried FB Marketplace, I could probably get XX. I asked what he would offer on the spot, he stated his price and I accepted his offer. Very pleased with my experience -- I will gladly do business with Ron again!
