I am a member of the church I need help and only once did they help me with food I have spoken many times and they never answer me I need help with financial assistance I have 5 children and I am a single mother it is sad that they do not have compassion for people who need help

This is the only church we have found for 20 years that was not judge mental or had high expectations and performance. River City has In a safe place of refuge and healing after spiritual abuse in the church. It has been an incredible three years of growing in the Lord and understanding the full council of God. People are friendly, warm and authentic… No pretense at all! Super refreshing.

I was happy to hear of the new ministry in Elgin and also of the upcoming outreach in Batavia. Disappointed that only one person greeted us with meaningful conversation. But this is very common in churches. Worship was too showy at the begining with smoke and all. Loved seeing the children participate in worship. Truly believe children are the clue to connection. It is easier to get to know one another when families are together. People love to talk about their children and they are a bridge for strangers to talk with one another. Thank you for your ministry to the fox valley. My heart and prayers are with you.
