I’m conflicted about this place. First, let’s talk the negatives: It is a massive compound that used to be a community college, so all of the rooms are the size of a single room on a cruise ship. There is no fridge in the rooms. My room was NOT clean as I found pubic hair in my shower, on my toilet, and in my bed. The food is only available during short windows of time, if at all, and it’s not always the best. Whatever you ate from the buffet at lunch will be the same thing served to you in the banquet room at dinner. Outside of the small time windows, there is nothing available anywhere. No ice machines. No vending machines. Nothing, so be prepared. The positives: there is a seemingly endless supply of meeting rooms, but that’s probably because they used to be classrooms. The staff are very kind and happily addressed my cleanliness concerns. The banquet rooms are fully equipped with all the best tech equipment and the grounds are well maintained.

I attended Institute Day for teachers from about 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. It was well organized with friendly staff, good coffee, healthy breakfast and snacks, and soda, and an impressive amphitheater.

I was a featured speaker at an event hosted at the Q Center. The staff here were super friendly. Every person I encountered was very helpful and it made the conference memorable. 5 stars!

The center has very beautiful grounds and the facility is very clean. Conference rooms were excellent as well. The hotel rooms are small so if you need more space, book at least an executive room or a suite. Bed mattresses, pillows, and blankets are terrible and I absolutely should have packed my own pillow. For the cost, they really should update. Food is not good. The welcome video sent via email made it look appealing but it is NOT. The food tastes reheated and often any of the bread products are hard as a rock. All the staff was very pleasant and welcoming.I’ll have to come back next year for another conference but I will not be staying at the Q center. St. Charles is the town and it’s super cute with lots of good places to eat and other sleeping accommodations.

I have been coming here once a year for company annual meetings for quite some time. This place has been going downhill over time and I would not stay here again if invited. The shower had very low water pressure and the shower basin did not drain. I had to take a very fast shower while standing in 2 to 3 inches of water. I can only imagine the bacteria from the drain. The food in the cafeteria each day was either too cold when it was supposed to be warm or warm when it was supposed to be cold. The food was very unimpressive. There were a couple of mishaps with food allergies (very important) in our party and with fragranced linens being used in rooms where fragrance free was requested. Our entire organization has decided to stop hosting our large events here for a number of these reasons. The silver lining was that every staff member, but one in the cafe, was kind, pleasant, and very helpful.

I was here for Chamberlain’s immersion weekend and it has me cursing the day I ever registered at that school. I thought staying here would be a great idea, seeing that the event was in the same vicinity, but boy was I wrong. One thing I do not ever compromise is my accommodation, and this place compromised every last bit of it. The building is outdated and the rooms are so small, like a closet. It’s basically like a college dorm room. I wanted to cry. I immediately called the front desk to ask if I can upgrade my room as I don’t mind having to pay full price if I have to, but was told all the rooms are sold out. I’m seriously thinking of abandoning my reservation and getting a hotel nearby. I’m most disappointed in Chamberlain, how on earth would they think that hard working nurses who left their families and comfortable homes to come for their mandatory weekend would be happy staying in this place??! It’s sickening.

Very dishonest and unethical organization. They commit fraud by stealing tips earned by the contracted bartenders. Various stories are told to gig workers that conflict the truth. City of St Charles needs to be informed of these unjust actions.

This was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised. I will say that I got an upgraded room, not just the twin size bed, so I'm sure that helped. The grounds are beautiful and they have a trail map at the front. I didn't go, but they said downtown St Charles is only a couple of miles away on a trail. All of the staff was friendly...especially Tricia who explained everything to me when I checked in and Gabriel in the dining room. There was a sign in my room saying that if you're staying 3 nights or less, your room won't be cleaned, but it was cleaned every day during my 3 night stay. It is a huge place, so bring your walking shoes! The food was overall pretty good. I did come down the breakfast on the later end (830 and it closed at 9) and there was never anyone working the omelette station then :(. Loved the soft serve ice cream. There are also plenty of water stations, but they don't have coke products :(

Conference CenterWe recently had a training event and the location that was available was the Q Center.I was a little concerned as the location looked to be far from O'Hare airport but in the end, the drive went pretty quick.Arriving at the front gate, you are directed to the main building for check-in. It is set up pretty much like a hotel and the front desk folks will get you going with a small map - the Q Center has a LOT of buildings and grounds so it is easy to get turned around. In our case, there was a lot of walking from the parking lot to the wing where our rooms were located - so I got a good opportunity to really see the different wings. The place is set up for meetings / conferences and there is no shortage of rooms and gathering areas all over the place, where you can have breakout sessions, of just sit and reflect. The rooms for our group were the "executive" style and although not huge, were comfortable enough and had all the amenities you would expect from a hotel. Room was clean, bed was comfy, bathroom was well lit and the hot water had good pressure. Wifi was spotty when we got there but the Q Center IT people got it back up and running about 15 minutes after I called down to the front desk. The training event had us there four days and we had breakfast / lunch and dinner in our training area - it was a team building thing so we were expected to eat together. Food was brought for each meal and presented nicely. There were multiple mains to choose from (buffet style) as well as apps and desserts. Food was tasty no matter what meal we had.In the evening there were two areas where you could get adult beverages and more food (if you wanted more food). One was the set up more or less as a sports bar with pool tables and the other was more along the lines of a restaurant. Both made good drinks.Everyone working there was pleasant and helpful.Definitely a must-try if you need an event space for your corp event.

I came here with open expectations and felt the convenience of the location in the same building as my event, was the prime reason for staying here, but I was wrong. I definitely sacrificed comfort, good food, and sleep just for convenience, and I will not stay here again. The room was a double occupancy and it was relatively quiet although overpriced and probably no better than a Hampton inn.The bed was super uncomfortable and I hardly slept. But by far the worse experience was the food. All of us resorted to door dash or leaving the center to find our own food by the 2nd day as the food was bland and no better than elementary cafeteria food and the silverware and tables were always dirty. The only decent spot to eat is in the cafe (pizza) but you can't eat that every meal and they had weird hours and were often closed. There was also a lot of staff complaining about their work conditions and it made us concerned with how they are running things. This place should charge half of what they do or need to step it up..
