Old fashioned respect for you and your pets, very good communication and follow through whenever you need anything. They have really gone above and beyond for my sweet boy, currently a cancer patient. Many calls to my home after hours by his vet, the practice owner, working tirelessly to make sure we had the best plan of action - and many hours of research and communication with other specialists on my pets behalf. You will feel like your dog or other pet is the only one they see. Amazing front desk staff as well , just really good people who care.

Animal House Veterinary Hospital: Pruss Sarah DVM
2079 Lincoln Hwy, St. CharlesI want to just gush over the staff at the animal hospital. My daughter just moved back here and was without a vet. Her cat became gravely ill. She unfortunately had to go on a trip during figuring out what was wrong with our well loved cat! Dr Scott and staff keep us informed and our cat comfortable till our daughter made it home and she was able to make the very hard choice of letting her go peacefully! We can't thank them enough for the help and compassion during a very difficult time!

Animal House Veterinary Hospital
2079 Lincoln Hwy, St. CharlesDr. Ammon has cared for my family’s dogs since 1997, when we moved to the area. And even now that I live 6 hours away, I still bring my dogs to him for anything beyond routine medical care provided by my local vet.
He is caring, compassionate, thoughtful; he always explains things clearly and thoroughly; he has referred us to specialists when the issue was out of his wheelhouse; and I have always appreciated his candor and honesty when difficulties came up.
My Malamute Sasha had many medical issues over the years, and I believe the excellent care she received at Animal House contributed to her long life (13 years). (Sasha saw many vets at Animal House over her lifetime and they were all fantastic, but she especially loved Dr. Ammon.)
The administrative staff and vet techs are very friendly, caring, professional, and knowledgeable. Everyone there clearly cares deeply about animals.
15/10 stars, with no hesitation.

530 Dunham Rd, St. CharlesI have to keep this short before I start bawling again but wanted to give a huge recommendation for this place as an ER because a few days ago my husband and I had that nightmare, the one every single person reading this dreads, when one of our beloved cats died very suddenly, as in one minute the cat who had not been sick at all was playing and fine and the next he'd frozen up into some kind of siezure and stopped breathing in a matter of seconds. Terrified and in shock I googled ER vet near me and thank God I got this place, calling them while running to the car with our cat. We lost him, yes, to an apparent heart attack, but the kindness and care and steadfast feeling this clinic gave us when we needed it most has won them our loyalty and I'm grateful to everyone on staff that night for taking care of us, and of Captain Larry.

525 S Tyler Rd #F, St. CharlesI had my initial appt for my dog with Dr. Golden. My dog is almost 11 years old and has been with the same vet her whole life so changing was difficult. Dr. Golden was very warm, knowledgeable and welcomed my dog with open arms. The rest of the staff was also very welcoming. I feel confident this change will go well.
At my last appt I saw Dr. Amy with Jasmine. She was very professional and answered all my questions and concerns. Thanks Dr. Amy!

530 Dunham Rd, St. CharlesI visited the St. Charles Veterinary Clinic for the first time about two months ago. I took my cat in to get her yearly vaccinations, and get checked out because she had been having some blood in her stool. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. I forget the name of the veterinarian that treated my cat, but he was incredibly kind and the medication he prescribed healed my cat promptly! I also thought everything was quite affordable and fairly priced. You can tell they truly care about your pets! My cat and I will be coming here from now on!

Upon entering, you are greeted by a cozy labyrinth of books, creating a tranquil and inviting atmosphere. The creaking of the wooden floors adds a nostalgic character to the experience. The cafe staff exuded warmth and hospitality; they accommodated us even when we arrived just 3 minutes before closing time. I had an egg salad sandwich and a perfectly crafted cappuccino, which I enjoyed on the go. Wish their hours of operation is longer tho. There are more people out & about after 4pm esp on weekends.

And if you get lucky enough, you just might run into Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy like I did. Just don't interrupt them they like their personal space which I gave to them and he was nice to say Thank you. I had no intentions of bothering them, just glad to see them eating at their restaurant and enjoying the moment.
