We live in Bartlett but still drive to this location for Immediate Care needs for our 3 year old and 10 month old because they go above and beyond every time. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experiences with their team. My 3 year old had 104 fever and we brought him in and he was smiling and laughing the whole time thanks to Francesca and Bridget. He also LAUGHED when getting the respiratory panel done because Francesca told him she had to "tickle his boogers and see if there were Teddy Grahams" in his nose. He has screamed every other time they've done it elsewhere. It is such a plus when staff knows how to work with children. If you have kids, come to this location and avoid Bartlett at all costs!! Thank you so much to the team here for taking care of my baby!

I've been satisfied with the care that I've received at St. Charles urgent care. Until today. I came in with a hacking cough, body aches, feeling run- down. I'm 68 years old. This woman was extremely condescending. She basically said I'd have to tough it out. She just seemed to be saying, "You silly goose, you." When I asked her when it'd be a good idea to seek help, she declared, "When you can't breathe!" She also discouraged me from having a viral screen for 30 viruses, stating that you can't do anything for them anyway. I opted for the screen and learned that I have A H1N1 flu. There are medications that can help ease the symptoms and lessen the duration of this flu. This woman needs to learn to treat people compassionately and with some respect.

Last 2 times I’ve been to this location I have been told they are not taking patients and it’s well before (2-3 hours) before their doors close.

I’ve gone here twice before. First time was fine and I was diagnosed with mono. The second time was today. I went in with a persistent coughing fit and wheezing. I understand there is a wait and a lot of patients, but it seems we all had to wait a very long time. Doctor Lovender came into the room without introducing himself, listened to my lungs, and said “I’ll put you on a steroid let me fill out some paperwork. He left very quickly and came back with a script for a decongestant. I asked why I’m getting a decongestant if he said I was going to get a steroid. He rudely cut me off and said that he was not finished talking. He said I should not interrupt him. He then proceeded to tell me nothing about why I was to take 3 different medications. The only thing he said was I will feel 80 or 90% better within a few days. He sent me out with barely a conversation. I felt that he did not care about my concerns or anything I had to say. I just feel like I was not treated as a patient should be.

Horrible experience. Don’t ever go here. The nurse Saumya Vaidya is the most unprofessional practitioner I’ve ever experienced. The rest of the staff was just as inept. I would highly suggest going anywhere else. Over 3 hours and received nothing that would resemble health care. I now need to go to another clinic tomorrow due to their incompetence.

Despite the website and phone line stating that this location was open for walk-ins until 7:30 PM, when I took my young child at 6:45 PM I was turned away and told that they were at capacity for the evening and no longer accepting patients. We have had good experiences here in the past, but I am very disappointed in the poor communication and disinformation.

Showed up one minute past last registration for immediate care. I had an infected dog bite but was rudely told they can't do anything. They lady behind the desk told me to get lost without offering any alternatives or suggestions.

It was my first time visiting this immediate care this evening. I arrived at 6:45 pm and was met with a sign on the door stating they were at capacity and were no longer taking more patients. This immediate care closes at 7:30 pm and their website states they take patients to register until 7:30 pm. I understand places can have staffing issues but they should state on their website that its a possibility to be turned away later in the evening if they have too many patients. That would of saved me the waste of a drive there.

All I wanted was amoxicillin to kill off a 3 week chest cold. Last week they suggested a tele-med call to see if I had a secondary bacterial infection - Are you ucking kidding me! (yes I'm pissed, I pay good money for insurance). Made an appointment at Immediate Care and had to wait an hour before I could see anyone. OK, not the end of the world. Got called, had a chest x-ray and they sent me in a close door room.... for 45 minutes. When I went in from the waiting room there were about 3 people. After 45 mins I walked out to the front and asked for assistance. Went back in and waited for 10 more mins. PA comes in and starts explaining a cold to me and the NW policy has changed on antibiotics. I explained to her that my father was a surgeon and I know that antibiotics work cause that is what he would give to me. She suggested long term effects - I'm thinking I'm twice your age, I think I'll take it please. I'm just trying to kill it - do I get the antibiotics or not? NO. I left and looked up the NW policy on antibiotics. Here it is:"Northwestern Medicine is committed to improving antibiotic use to ensure that antibiotics remain effective treatment options."For about 15 minutes I listened to a nurse from my room try and figure out how to say throat lozenge in Spanish for another patient. She never said anything close to an apology other than they are busy, which I know not to be the case. Yes I am pissed and thinking of canceling the insurance and just becoming an indigent of the state like our apparent southern border friends. ONE STAR - and that's cause they came around the waiting room like a flight attendant with warm water and a cookie! Wake UP NW... that's not why we are there!OH and BTW, I was never asked to take a covid test, even though I have what some would consider symptoms. Maybe they did a social media search on me and decided to avoid the issue. One more thing... she did suggest that I had high blood pressure and asked me if this was normal.... I asked if she meant today or always!

Absolute WORST place to visit! They are rude beyond belief! Brought my son in to be see. By a doctor and after waiting 2 hours still hadn’t been seen after being told it would just be an hour wait! After finally asking was rudely told yea we’re busy today!! These places are a waste and shouldn’t even exist anymore! You never do anything but wait and waste your time. They are never helpful. Will NOT every be visiting this place again!

Overall, a good clinic. I’ve had to wait some visits quite a bit for a simple Depo shot. I understand being busy and getting things ready.

Feels like I’m visiting this urgent care constantly for myself or babies. Wait times can be long at times but it varies. My last two visits I had a 25min wait and the other was 1hour 15min wait. I’d suggest going first thing in the morning if it’s possible for a shorter wait.

I had a really positive visit today with three compassionate women at the clinic. From the front desk associate to the medical assistant and PA. I was very impressed with their kindness.

The staff and medical professionals are excellent and they get 5 stars. The fact that you can't leave after you check in is absurd, there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to call and make an appointment so you can limit you exposure to a small room full of sick people waiting to be seen. This is a lousy, inefficient, and potentially dangerous system. Northwestern Medicine is a monopoly that doesn't need to treat customers better or be more efficient.
