I hired Mixology to do hair and makeup for all 9 of my wedding party. I really appreciate the stylists and makeup artists, they worked hard to make us comfortable and accommodate our needs. I can’t however, recommend their bridal services. My paid hair trial went poorly, my off center, low bun was undone in two hours. I sent pictures and asked that they make sure it’s secured for the wedding. The stylist that did the trial left a few months after and they offered a discounted trial or trust in the pictures and notes. Weddings add up and I had already spent over $200 on a trial, so I didn’t feel up to paying again for something out of my control. On my wedding day, Veronica tried so hard to get the look right, but she struggled to follow the pictures and it didn’t feel like they had taken enough pictures, so the bun was higher and more centered than I wanted. She tried again to get it how I asked but she was running behind and a bit frazzled. It was close enough and I really hoped that the different style would make it hold in place better. 2.5 hours later the bun had become undone and my family was desperately trying to pin it together right before the ceremony.
It’s a nice concept to have my entire party get made up together but I would have much preferred to have my hair intact and not try to hide it behind my veil the entire night. I can’t recommend their bridal services. I emailed them the next day to let them know how poorly things went and they didn't respond.

Our experience with Sara and the Mixology bridal team was fabulous! They travelled to Chicago for my daughter’s wedding. In addition to everyone being thrilled with their hair and make-up, I appreciated them building time into the day for touch-ups! Every detail was executed with perfection! And, a special shoutout to Veronica and Kristin for handling the bride’s hair and makeup! I highly recommend!

I had an appointment scheduled for 10:15 AM and drove 20 minutes to get there. Upon arrival, I was promptly seated, only to be left waiting for over 30 minutes without any communication or apology for the delay. When someone finally addressed me, it was to inform me that they were ready for my appointment. By that time, I had decided to leave due to the unacceptable lack of consideration and respect for my time.
This experience was extremely disappointing and a complete waste of my morning. There was no offer of water or any acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused by the extended wait. The customer service was severely lacking, and it felt as though the staff did not value their clients' time.
If it were possible, I would give zero stars. I do not recommend this place and suggest that they reassess their approach to managing appointments and customer service. Save yourself the trouble and find a more reliable establishment.

BRIDES. I want to share a warning before you consider this salon for any bridal services. Be ready upfront for poor communication, multiple stylist/artists changes, and possibly poor quality hair and makeup. My best friend and I both booked them for bridal services and are now out hundreds of dollars. The poor service and quality of work were too much of a risk to allow on wedding day(s), so we had to find an alternative vendor. We have both asked if we could speak to management multiple times; these have all gone ignored. So please, BE careful, because this salon has just taken our money without a professional attempt at customer service and has left us with an extremely poor outlook.

I've been coming here for years and have always had such a great experience. Reannah their stylist and blonde specialist is amazing!! My hair looks perfect! They were also so good with my young daughter today and even did a special Elsa braid for her. Thank you ladies!

My first visit to this shop, Reannah did a wonderful job with my haircut and style. She is new to the salon and very eager to learn and grow. She listened to what I asked. The salon is beautiful and so clean & welcoming. For me prices are a little higher than I would choose, and a bit far for me to travel, but I do realize is because you have top notch stylists and was worth my trip!!
From start to finish, Reannah was welcoming, polite and professional, this was a VERY enjoyable experience!!

Reannah was amazing! So bright and bubbly and my color looks fantastic! I’m so in love with it and plan to come back for more. She really worked with me on what colors and cut would look best for me without being pressured. A great experience

I am obsessed with how my hair turned out!! First of all, what a beautiful and professional space that offers multitudes of services for men, women, and special events. Very friendly and welcoming staff, check-in was seamless, and a tour of a facility was offered. My stylist, Miss Napientek, is very knowledgeable in her work, very kind and provided a helpful explanation of the process to get me exactly where I wanted my hair to be. I am moving out of state but will gladly fly all the way back just to see her and receive services again and again! Just the best!

Reannah is amazing! I’ve been looking for a consistent hair stylist for I couldn’t even tell you how long, and I’m so happy I found Reannah! She’s honest, welcoming, and most importantly, she cares about keeping the integrity of your hair. I’ve made 3 consistent appointments with her and am in the process of booking the 4th! Reannah Napientek is very skilled and talented all over. Her energy is great and her smile radiates right to you. I was very pleased when I sat in her chair with green hair from my own box dye incident, to leave with perfect flawless hair. She also does fantastic hair and up do's for prom. Reannah takes the time to make sure you love what you are walking away with. Mixology has become my favorite salon.

I am a loyal customer. I have been seeing Isabella Di Silvestro for a few years. She is very talented, and very sweet. I started to lose some of my hair after I was over covid and she had me use their shampoo and conditioner my hair is back to being thick and full. She has me come in regular for a color touch up so my silver never has to show again. I love the service and it is a very relaxing atmosphere. I recommend her to everyone I know.
