The checkout female must have been on meth or coke because she was talking like an auctioneer and moving like on fast-forward, and then she sent me to the customer service counter because my Instacart app paused for three seconds, like it always does between screens.
Then the female at the customer service counter was rude and dismissive, interrupting me repeatedly when I was trying to explain to her that the Instacart app works differently than how she was telling me it supposedly works.
That’s after standing in line for 20 minutes because they won’t hire enough people. So the lesson of the day is, never accept an Instacart order from Meier. In fact, I won’t shop here at all any more.

Just moved to Geneva and going to all of the markets near by me. Was not expecting a supermarket, home goods and clothes all under one roof! Great store well definitely go back.

Meijers is great. I had never been to this one before but it did not disappoint. Pleasant experience. Very reasonable pricing on most things.

Meijer is the grocery to go for overall actual savings and quality. Cute clothes at very reasonable prices. Custom services is good. Jewel-Osco you've screwed this 30+ year customer over for the last time.

Got a couple prescriptions filled at the pharmacy. As usual very professional and prompt, unlike the one on South Elgin that could screw up a one car parade.

I had the sweetest human interaction today in the parking lot when I was returning my cart! I didn’t catch his name but one of the guys that collects carts wished me a nice day and I said the same, and then he asked me if I had seen the eclipse. I said no I wish I could I just don’t have the glasses, and he whipped a pair out of his pocket and offered them to me! I took him up on it and I’m so glad I did because it was super cool to see the eclipse. Such a kind person I’m so glad to have fun in to him :)

This is always my go to Meijer as it's the cleanest and nicest branch I've seen! The employees are always kind, as are the people at the bank! If you need help, they seem very willing to assist you. Things are pretty easy to find here, but if not employees can help.
