Dr. Oriold and the rest of the team were great with regularly touching base with me when my dog was undergoing treatment for his congestive heart failure. They were also very accommodating when I needed same day appointments.

It’s so great finding a place that does such an amazing job grooming Jasper, my standard Poodle. I’ve been to numerous places locally and it has been very hit or miss (but mainly miss) April is the one that did his groom and everything I asked for was achieved flawlessly. He looked exactly how I requested and all of the staff is always so friendly and kind. We are so thankful that Jaspers best friend Rocky received a great groom here first and then referred us!! Thank you April and Team :)

So, I took my kitty to this place, and the people there were super nice to her. They were really patient and understanding, even when I asked them a bunch of silly questions. They just wanted to make sure my kitty was happy and comfortable, and they were really sweet to her. They have a cat only entrance. They also have a window with a bird feeder so your cat can look through it.

Very friendly. Doesn’t take your cat away from you during exams. Very slow and gentle with the cats. Lots of encouragement with treats ❤️

We can't thank Loyal Companion staff enough for the care provided to our pup. Rosita and I knew this place was different the moment we walked in the door. No waiting room, friendly greeting, comfortable exam room with no metal exam tables, calm setting and treats waiting for your arrival! The doctors are knowledgeable, kind and take time to ensure you understand the situation and treatment options. The staff is welcoming, compassionate and skilled. Talk about fear-free... Rosita took a nap while waiting for her exam results! We originally chose to drive to Loyal Companions to secure testing for Chagas. After the first few minutes of Rosita's appointment, I decided we were staying with this provider--we drove from Rockford to St. Charles because it was worth every mile and every minute of the ride. Thank you to everyone at Loyal Companions--your effort is appreciated and acknowledged!

if six stars were available, I would give that. We have had excellent care for a cat and a dog at Loyal Companions. Both needed surgery. The surgeries were done beautifully with zero side effects. The practice does dogs and cats and our pets have been most grateful that we moved our care to this "fear free" practice. They love it and so do we. Thank you, LC doctors, vet techs and staff!

Another one with wrong advertising. When you look on the Google phone and the business map it says emergency care service. Well that's not true. Treat any veterinarian in the area as a appointment only. If you have an emergency go see someone else.
It is a shame on places like this. In many small towns we have been in, we have received excellent care, especially in emergency situation. Places like this, the small town veterinarian clinics will excel better than anywhere.

Friendly and nurturing staff. Dr. Sherman was amazing with my senior girl!
Brought my 3 year old kitty in for shots and she ended up having an adverse reaction. They got us back in quickly and were so thorough and caring. Could not recommend this practice more!

This was my first visit with 2 cats. One received a consultation and the other an exam. They tried to make the experience as comfortable as possible for them. The staff were helpful and answered all my questions

This clinic is fear free certified, and they pay special attention to ensure that your pet has a comfortable experience here. We've only ever used them for their veterinary services and we see Dr. Oriold- she is absolutely lovely. Most of the vet techs we've met have also been very wonderful to work with. Be prepared however to spend a lot of money- their costs are high but you also are paying for an experience for your dog that is going to be significantly less stressful!!

I am so happy I found this place. The staff is so very kind and friendly! My girl is relaxed and happy when we go. We go straight to a very clean room with relaxing music and she gets healthy treats!! Thank you Loyal Companions, Dr. Oriold and all the staff!

This vet offers A-1 care as well as a relaxing environment for my pet and myself ❤️ i truly enjoyed how the doctors and the techs treated my pet with compassion and care in a way that didn’t scare her. They offered us medication to help with her anxiety for when we come back to do the bloodwork. I will definitely be back and will be bringing my other three pets with me. Thank you so much for all that you do within training to make sure that my pet was calm, safe, and had a great experience!

Now this was my first time there but I don't know how anyone could give them anything less than 5 Stars.
My one dog is VERY PERSONABLE and when the vet came in she tired to grab her sleeve and missed but the doc knew that she just wanted to have something in her mouth because that is her calming mechanism. She had the vet tech grab a stuffed animal and she was SO HAPPY and fine the rest of the visit.
My other dog who has bad anxiety was the calmest I had ever seen him when going to the vet. She waited until he engaged and took everything at his pace. Friggin AMAZING! Additionally, my dog who I brought first left the stuffed animal because I thought we should, that gave it to me to give to her. When I came home and gave it to her so was SO EXCITED and she has been carrying it around all weekend.
Aside from all of the above, they are extremely nice people who have a consultative approach and valued my opinion rather than be dismissive and push their agenda which I have found to be the case elsewhere. Also, the FEAR FREE thing is REAL. No other possible dog interactions, calming music and smells in the exam rooms. They did all shots and nail trim in the exam room so I could keep the dogs at ease.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The one star is too generous. This terrible business planned for months the changes that were going to happen in the boarding/daycare. BUT only gave employees less than 2 weeks notice with no compensation and now they lose their insurance. They only stayed open through spring break because they are greedy. How do you sleep at night knowing you did this to loyal employees. Beware if they do this to people, how are they treating your animals??
