Everyone knows that Jewels prices are a little higher then competitors, but store is clean, food is fresh.

They don't mark the time on rotisseries (there's literally even a clock on the packaging).
I have a histamine intolerance (non-fresh meats make me sick--sinuses close, skin burns so bad I can't sleep, etc). A couple hours of freshness makes all the difference.
Sucks for me. Those rotisseries look delicious, but it's not worth the risk.

Normally this is a decent experience, but yesterday the elderly employee helping with self-checkout past 9 pm was pretty rude to me when trying to assist me with checking out items. I know it stinks to work in the late evening at Jewel( I was once an employee of Jewel 30 years ago), but anyone having to shop after 9:00 isn't there to shop because its fun either, so take it easy. :/

S/O to Kathy(Cathy) in the deli department. She displayed great customer service skills! I'm on lunch and wanted to try a custom made sandwich. She recommended oven roasted turkey and it is very tasty! Also what impressed me is that after I was in another nearby aisle she wanted to make sure if I had seen the condiments available but it was okay I told her I was purchasing some.

Love this store and my cashier Jordyn was great and love that jewel hires people in the spectrum... she did great and thanks jewel and great additional staff.

Went here to get a birthday card and a gift card for my grandmother after work 10pm. Waited about 20 minutes in line only for them to say they cant sell me a GIFT CARD because of "fraud". I have CASH! Ridiculous. Can't even shop after work for a giftcard.

I wouldn't buy, let alone eat anything out of this deli. For two visits in a row, two weeks apart, there was a thick clear glaze over every item in the deli as if the refrigeration had gone out or if they did not cover the food at all overnight.There are several other Jewel stores within 10 minutes drive of this one. For that and other reasons, I highly recommend you go to anyone but the St Charles Randall Rd location.

Jewel is a grocery store where you can find just about anything, however I've noticed that it's gotten so expensive. Everything you look at is at least $5.99 which almost feels like price fixing, even when things are on sale its still $5.00 each from saltine crackers to bread, lunch meat to a chicken and veggies, fruit and dairy. I've shopped the St Charles location, Aurora, Sugar Grove to Batavia, however Batavia us my least favorite, I've experienced employees just say they don't know an answer to my question and walk away, no offer to find out or ask a manager for assistance. And I'm definitely not fond of the .05 cents for each bag you use. That used to be one of the costs of doing business but so many companies are pushing those fees and other fees onto the consumer.

Came for one item, had a coupon. Associate come over and canceled my coupon, saying I'm not allowed to use it even though your system accepted it. Then, she proceeded to reenter my items incorrectly, trying to charge me more for a different product. I corrected her but she got offended gaslit me. Pure arrogance for someone who earns minimum wage (and they actually want more?!). Why is this place still in business with this poor level of customer service?

You go and buy alcohol and they ask for ID you give them a Valid State ID and they tell u they can’t accept it worst shopping experience ever don’t recommend this place unless if u want to waste ur time

Bathrooms reeked of pee and were not very clean.
