“Stayed one night on a business trip. Location was great. Room was clean. All staff were very friendly. I did have dinner in the bar - the food was good and the staff were very accommodating. Overall, I was very happy with this stay.

Walkability: I went for a 3 mile run in the neighborhood across the road and felt completely safe. It was a nice run. Definitely good for a walk with family.

Food and drinks: I had dinner in the bar - the food was good and the staff were very accommodating. The breakfast buffet was also nice.”

“I attended Institute Day for teachers from about 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. It was well organized with friendly staff, good coffee, healthy breakfast and snacks, and soda, and an impressive amphitheater.”

“Went to St. Charles to watch a Chicago Steele hockey game... and was VERY happy we stayed the night at the Baker. Very lovely hotel with a ton of history. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff at the front desk was SUPER nice and accommodating, and the price for the room was very reasonable.(The gym room was closed for some reason, which made me sad... but took a long walk by the river, so that was good).Highly recommend staying at the Baker... and located right in the heart of everything, and surrounded by good restaurants.”

“My room was in the newer brick building with interior doorways

The room was nicely furnished and very clean, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The exercise room was very nice.

My only complaint about the room is the desk chair which was very worn and should be replaced. Also, the pool is permanently closed and looks like it has been closed for a while. The breakfast was adequate for a motel in this price range.

The location was a challenge as the motel is not at a traffic light, and it's difficult to get onto the busy main road if you are heading west into downtown St. Charles.

Overall, it was a good value for the price, and I would stay here again the next time I am in St. Charles visiting family..”

“Room was decent but hallways had an overwhelming smell of febreeze. Coffee pot in my room didn't work and had to wait for breakfast area to open at 7am to get coffee, generally hotels at least have some available early. Staff was friendly, felt safe, and good location.”

“The comments in here talked about them having bugs we went through the room as we always do under the sheets and bed in every nook and crany and not one sign of pests when we first walked in there was a strong smell of cleaner but I take that as a good sign and the tv was a better size than local surrounding hotels for the same price only thing I would have to say is I wish they had a better spread for breakfast but there is a Colonial breakfast place only 20 steps away right in front of the hotel but back to geneva motel inn the workers were super courteous and we put the do not disturb sign on our door which I have done with many hotels previously and they did not come in like many I have been to before they respect your privacy and the pool was open for us no problems I would definitely stay again”
