I had an absolutely horrendous experience today at Costco in St. Charles. As we were leaving, we were abruptly stopped because some items were not scanned. We understood the situation and complied, returning to get the items rechecked. However, the supervisor, Sue, was shockingly rude, shouting at the teller (who had failed to scan the items) front of us. Also there was not a single apology for their mistake; instead, they treated my family and me as if we were at fault. This entire ordeal was beyond frustrating and completely unprofessional. Costco needs to seriously address their customer service issues, starting with Supervisor Sue's unacceptable behavior.

Amazing experience, as usual, at Costco. We came to purchase an inexpensive 55" set for the patio. In the process, we contemplated many high-end screens and one beautiful 100+ inch oled. We had a fun visit, did some grocery shopping, and left with the perfect tv.

Love shopping at our local Costco. It’s clean, great selection, and staff are friendly. It’s always a plus when samples are being given out too.

This place is absolute chaos. Every time we come here is an adventure. People absolutely forget how to walk in an orderly fashon. It doesn't help that they employed zero engineers to design a workable flow. The parking lot is hell on earth...
But I'll be back next week.

The St Charles Costco location I find is great!! I’ve been so several different locations and I find this to be one of my favorites. The selection of plants, flowers, and merchandise they have I find is more to select from than Mettawa or Bloomingdale for example. More importantly, the people are nice and always willing to help when needed.

If you change your return policy on items, make sure you tell customers before they purchase them. I’m now stuck with tickets that I wouldn’t have bought early, if I would have known I can’t return them.

The store itself and most of the employees are very nice, but I witnessed an employee racially profile a customer. The employee was a white guy named Mike and he passed through the entire line of white people to single out the one Hispanic person to verify his membership. Do better Costco

Well It normally is good here...
Except when a genius guy puts a california king size bed on one of the little flat carts HORIZONTALLY and takes up ***ENTIRE "LARGE" ISLES*** AND runs into YOU and EVERYTHING and EVERYONE. And complained that people were cutting HIM off...
Costco SHOULD have said something to thus guy shopping like that. As it honestly was not safe. He wanted attention apparently. Ugh.
And it was the ***FIRST thing*** he grabbed!!! Held up the entire store traffic What a ?♂️
Lego selection is always disappointing. I'm not going to this location as much in the future...

This is a good store with everything that other Costco stores have except it is seriously lacking handicap scooters. The parlor had many handicapped spaces that are frequently full. The store apparently only has 2 motorized shopping carts.
All the other Costco stores in the area have them, why not St Charles?

Terrible service by eye doctor.. they are closed randomly and don’t take insurances.. my family has been coming for years but will be going elsewhere
