“I’ve been having a pretty hard time getting around since I Injured my knee earlier this summer. I need surgery on it, and need the electronic scooters to get around in store. Now many stores you go to, especially other large chains, do not have motorized scooters readily available. You typically have to ask around, stand and wait, and sometimes I have even left because stores have none available. At the Meijer in Elgin, there is a greeter at the front of the store name Toni/T”

“Great employees make the difference. Let's face it, almost all of the smaller-sized,convenience store/gas stations are pretty much the same, so why does it matter if you go to this one, or one of the other 4 gas stations within a half mile? Well, for me, what matters most is the staff of the store, and this Shell branded gas/Circle K store has some of the friendliest clerks around. I stop by this station about 4 days a week, and almost alway see Robert weekday mornings. He's a nice guy, always ready with a bad pun and a heartfelt "have a good day" when I leave. During the weekends I am happy to see Jessica - truly a star of a manager, and also a really cool chick. Both of them are really good at their jobs. It takes a certain kind of person to work the long hours needed in this tiny little 24 hour store, and the fact that these two always seem to be in a good mood and smiling is amazing to me. The clean and bright convenience store is very small, but always well stocked with essentials like candy,snacks,coffee/pop/juice & water and smokes.The coffee's always fresh and their 10 self-service pumps usually have some of the lowest priced gas in the east side of Kane county coming out of them. The one small drawback - their public bathroom is a little spooky. It's one of those crappers that are separate from the main building over in the car wash enclosure. Inside, it's on the clean-ish side, but it's really weirdly lit and damp and just not really a good place to be. I'm also not 100% sure it's handicap accessible, so if that's applicable to you, keep that in mind. There's a Wendy's right next door however, and I would suggest going over there if you need to go. Lastly, when exiting this station directly, it's only possible to go south on Kirk, or west on Roosevelt (Rt. 38.) If you want to head north on Kirk, you need to do a little jog back behind the Wendy's to the next road over. Getting out to go east on Roosevelt is done much the same way, it's not impossible it just takes a little local knowledge. It's weird to review a convenience store, I know. But... when the employees are as friendly and efficient as the ones that work here I think it's nice to point that out. These places are always ragged on. I like to give kudos a lot more than I like to drag places down, for the most part at least, haha. If you happen to see Jessica while you're in here, tell her that Paul the motorcycle guy says "hi!"”

“I am blown away by the lackluster reviews of this place. I love it! Every time I come they have exactly what I need. The older gentleman that works evenings, I hate myself for not remembering his name, is literally an angel, just the kindest man! Although it's not cheap, I accept that, as I know I am paying for convenience. This is my go to stop for coffee creamer, ice, beer, and whatever lil' odds And ends I need at home. Big fan!!!”

“Print quality is top notch! Also way cheaper than kinkos with all the coupons you can use. My only gripe is the website does not have basic tools like rulers for adding your photos to a project. You pretty much have to account for the size of the print when you create your print. Other than that awesome printing”
