It does not get any better than having your son tell you, “What a great day”We just left CKT, buying a throttle cable and high performance red cable holds for Charlie’s kart and felt like we were walking into my Uncles garage- the Uncle who likes speed and fast things!He sat down, he listens to our story- I so excited, I couldn’t shut up- And then he just opened up like a book on racing.He talked to my son, like he was his own- guided us in the right direction, his passionand experience, the real deal here.Absolutely no hesitation to share his wisdom.We even stayed a half hour past close telling stories. Immediately on walking into CKT I was warmed by the family atmosphere and impressed with the knowledge and experience. The shop is filled with customer pictures and it was apparent from talking to them that these were "family" and not just numbers! They have the tools, experience, and knowledge to help you reach your karting goals, whatever they may be. They have prepped karts and given driver coaching for many National Champions and have been racing karts for over 30 years.

I’ve spoken to many shops around to gather info and guidance to getting my son into karting and I’ve gotten the best experience here at CKT racing. Jim is hands down extremely knowledgeable and helpful, he’s made us feel like we were a part of his family not just a customer. The in house knowledge is incredible. It was my first time at CKT and I immediately felt like a regular and welcomed to the family. Jim was fantastic and so helpful. Huge inventory and pricing is on point with competitors. Definitely recommend.

Jim, Steve, Bill, and Sylvia have been monumentally helpful as I've begun my journey into owner-driver karting. Time after time, they've gone out of their way to help me out–whether in the form of answering the most obvious of questions about how particular components work, dispensing invaluable wisdom, and otherwise providing me with the benefit of their near-century of combined experience in karting. Their enthusiasm for the sport is downright infectious, and that fact is clearly apparent every time I've visited the shop. Jim, Bill and Steve have each taken the time to walk me through everything from basic kart maintenance to the finer points of adjusting the handling balance of the chassis, even carving out time to help me fix a number of things on the kart, only a couple of hours after I'd called. Their assistance has helped me feel so much more comfortable as I've begun to wade into the vastness of karting. Without their support, I likely wouldn't have started at all.

I got 20 years of Automotive Test Engineering experience, and I knew right away I brought my engine to the right place, the shop is fantastic, it's 100% race shop, can't wait to see what the engine will do after Jim gets done with it.
