Dr. Ammon has cared for my family’s dogs since 1997, when we moved to the area. And even now that I live 6 hours away, I still bring my dogs to him for anything beyond routine medical care provided by my local vet.
He is caring, compassionate, thoughtful; he always explains things clearly and thoroughly; he has referred us to specialists when the issue was out of his wheelhouse; and I have always appreciated his candor and honesty when difficulties came up.
My Malamute Sasha had many medical issues over the years, and I believe the excellent care she received at Animal House contributed to her long life (13 years). (Sasha saw many vets at Animal House over her lifetime and they were all fantastic, but she especially loved Dr. Ammon.)
The administrative staff and vet techs are very friendly, caring, professional, and knowledgeable. Everyone there clearly cares deeply about animals.
15/10 stars, with no hesitation.

First time to Animal House in St. Charles with my dog Dillon! I was a pleased with the expertise of Jenifer Sniezek she was wonderful! she gave Dillon a thorough exam and explained things very clearly that was going on with Dillon! Thank you Jenifer!! I recommend Animal house 100%

It was my first time here and this vet tech whose name is Mandy really helped me decipher which flea protection for my dogs would be best. She was really informative about which flea preventive medicine I should use and she recommended nex guard plus. She was A star employee.

I think if your pet needs routine care, they are great. I have used them for years and left and came back when my cat got sick. It was not the same place when i came back. Everytime I call I am put on hold for 15 plus minutes. When you are there you feel rushed in and out. Never get to talk to the vets directly. I feel everyone there is over worked and all they can do is the basics. Anything beyond that is hard to manage. I was forced to move vets due to the lack of service. Found out in one meeting my cat has kidney issues and his thyroid levels are not good. Animal House the week before tells me they both look good. Frustrating. They just toss medications at me sadly.

The staff is lovely and very respectful of our pets. You can tell that the staff truly loves animals of any kind.

I had the best experience possible at this veterinary hospital. The doctor was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond for my cat and I. I am very blessed and thankful to have a vet like this to go to. Thank you Dr Ammon for being a great veterinarian and a great human being. I am forever thankful for your kindness and good heart.
