I'm wondering why I can't give negative stars. I've been trying to get a prescription filled for more than 3 weeks. Every time I go in, the staff tells me some new lie. I don't know if they're all completely incompetent or just taunting me. It's only a matter of time before they kill someone.

I reached my limit with Walgreens..rarely do I NOT have a problem with my prescriptions . There is always some excuse….waiting on the Dr…can’t find the request for refill, etc. today was the last straw…I take a medication for knee pain,foot pain, and most recently a broken bone in my lower leg. March 30th was to be pick up day…..waiting on Dr…so, I call my Dr….well on their end it shows that it was sent in….ok…so I go back on Friday Am….still nothing, so another call to my Dr…they resend it…on sat/sun can’t use the pic up window because they are understaffed? Can’t go in cause I have a broken leg…so now it’s Monday afternoon….young man at the window starts to look for it …someone forgot to “pull” it off the computer,apologizes can have it in 20min…go back an hour later,now I’m told they don’t have it in stock and it may or may not come in tomorrow…….I made a phone call to Hy Vee….after 20+ years as being a customer ….I am divorcing you Walgreens…you need to seriously get your act together…

Medication script sent in at 10am on Tuesday 11/22. After multiple phone calls I finally reached someone at 6:30pm. 8 1/2 hours of waiting for a script to be filled only to find out the pharmacy was never open today because they didn’t have a pharmacist. That is terrible patient care. If the pharmacy isn’t opened why are they taking medication orders from the doctors office? Why are they not notifying patients that scripts will not be filled or transferring the scripts to other Walgreens?

A lot of problems getting prescriptions on time even antibiotics and sometimes five days and we have to have those but when I go to other Walgreens I see people have the same problems waiting and waiting for prescriptions so what's a person got to do go to Walmart?

The pharmacy is awful. Prescriptions are never ready on time even though I allow extra days. The young man who waited on me was rude. Said it would take a week to get my Prescription filled.

This Walgreens is awful!!! I was out of refills and they needed to request a new prescription. So I waited a few days for it to be sent in, which has always been more than enough time for my doctor to send it in. When I checked a few days later they confirmed they had received the prescription and it would ready the next day. I went in the next day, but they did not have it. They claim they never received it, which has never been an issue with my doctor before. I was angry, but I never swore or insulted the pharmacists helping me. However he decided I was too angry and tried to kick me out of the store permanently. I asked how I was suppose to get my meds, since the new prescription was being sent there he swore at me. He said, "I don't give a damn!". You don't swear at customers!!!

Your service is unacceptably poor! My mom is elderly and has a UTI which is making her dizzy and confused. Her doctor called in a prescription for antibiotics this morning at 9 am. Eight hours later it still isn’t ready. Joshua really doesn’t care.

They charged my mom $70 for her prescription. Made her pay for it out of pocket. Even after her insurance completely covered it. Then when my parents questioned it. they played stupid and refused to give her her money back! DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION, THEY'RE STEALING FROM THE ELDERLY AND TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THEM!!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

So this particular store is clean, well stocked, and the pharmacy puts the Iles Rd. Walgreens pharmacy to shame. The pharmacists are professional and competent, and know what they are doing, even having suggestions of where to access apps/coupons for prescriptions which I didn't think I would use until they brought up the possibility when my insurance was being ridiculous about approving a medicine. Which I took the advice and was able to get my son immediate treatment that required an antibiotic- without having to jump through weird and tedious insurance hoops. I kind of don't want to share how good the experience was because I don't ever want that pharmacy ever to become the hot mess the Iles store currently is and can't seem to overcome. But because I was so impressed by the pharmacy team I felt they earned the recognition. Now that being said, the counter people can be at times a little socially inept/clueless/lacking, like last night the clerk was visibly angry and short/snippy, and when asked if there was wrong she said she had to work . But I just chalked it up to lack of social awareness and social skills based on how she was behaving. A small price for having the pharmacy side of things working smoothly and the store being clean and stocked.

Walgreens is seriously a joke. My Dr. called a prescription in at 4pm because I’m pregnant and have covid. I called at 5:30 to confirm it was called in and to let them know someone would be picking it up for me since I have to quarantine. No where did they tell me it wouldn’t be ready for awhile or I needed to wait to pick it up. They get there at 7 o’clock and they told them it wouldn’t be ready for 2 hours!!! So I called to ask them what was going on and they told me the pharmacist was at lunch and they had vaccines and covid testing and not enough people. Why wouldn’t that be something they would indicate to their customers!?! Communication is really lacking.

This was originally going to be a bad review, but the manager Scott and store manager Kim truly changed the experience around for me, and now I would recommend this store to anyone. I first ordered 3 wood wall hanging photos for Father's Day on June 12th for Same Day service. The associate working photo called me and let me know that they had one wood hanging piece but the other two would take a few days. I said okay, and waited until June 20th to pick up in order to receive the order in time to give it as a gift for Fathers Day. I received an email that my order was complete on June 14th. On the 20th when I arrived, there was still only one hanging poster and therefore my gift for Father's Day was left incomplete and truly not what I wanted to give. The manager, Scott, spoke with me that day and wrote down my information in order to fix the situation. He said he would call as soon as he got the wood pieces in. I called in on July 2nd to inquire if my order was complete, and I spoke with the store manager, Kim, who had me send in a new order to the store in order to fix the previous order. I went in the store on July 2nd and the employee behind the photo counter was extremely rude, acted as if I was wrong for requesting the order, and completely ignored me despite my request to speak to the manager. The employees attitude was HORRIBLE. Being 7 months pregnant, I cannot deal with ignorance at the moment. However, the manager, Scott, went out of his way to service me and fix my situation. I left happy and satisfied with his and store manager Kim's immediate assistance and their ability to go above and beyond to fix the situation. I also left with two beautiful canvases which are above and beyond the quality I was looking for. I think the employee behind the photo counter tonight definitely needs an attitude adjustment, but your managers are above and beyond the best. I appreciate both of you beyond words can say. You definitely made this pregnant mama happy today. Thank you so much!
