“Hands down the best auto shop in town. If you need an HONEST mechanic and have been hosed in the past, this is the place to go. These guys are not out to make an extra buck off of you. They fix what is wrong, not what might go wrong. They don't bs you into a thousand dollar repair, in fact, they did exactly the opposite to me.
I was told that I need this and that by 2 other mechanics. I bought the parts and brought to them. I get a call from the owner that says, "Why did you buy all these parts? Who told you you needed this done? All of that is totally fine. Return those parts, you just need new tires." I was floored......FLOORED!!! He basically just turned away hundreds of dollars worth of work by being honest.
Well he turned down hundreds of work for that job, but I can tell you one thing, he'll get ALL of my business going forward. I tell every single person I know about that story and to go there if they have any issues with their cars. I have a wide group of friends who trust my opinion.

My family has trusted Eric and the Eurosport team for many, many years, and I can confidently say that the value and reliability of the work done with this company is outstanding. While I still call Springfield home, I’ve lived out of state for 5+ years and have continued to service my Subaru(s) at Eurosport despite the distance. This team prioritizes service that can’t be found elsewhere— especially not at a standard dealership or auto-shop. They have always had honest intentions with my car’s repair work, even when issues I thought needed fixed did not. “I took my 2014 Ram here for a Jasper remanufactured engine. Dropped it off on a Sunday and it was done by Thursday! So they removed the old engine, replaced the new engine and fixed a few other issues they found in 4 days! I couldn't be happier with the job they did. Now my truck is as good as new with a new HEMI. “Quick and easy to get new tires installed. Only complaint is you can never get them on the phone. Have to do online booking because they never have anyone available to answer because they are so busy”
“I had repairs done at another shop and they only made it worse, installed the parts haphazardly and caused more damage. Took my truck to lauterbach, as I should have in the first place, and the guys found and fixed the issue in no time. Very reasonably priced, friendly and quick. Not just for tires, but anything else that comes up, oil change, breaks etc. There are plenty of "ect."s with a car. I check with them first because i trust them.

“I would highly recommend South Grand Tires! We were recently traveling home from a race with our thirty foot enclosed toy hauler and blew 2 tires. We used both of our spares and still had six hours of traveling left to go. We did not want to travel that far home with no spare. We contacted Arthur and he pointed us in the right direction to get 2 more spares so we could travel home with peace of mind. He was extremely polite and helpful and I would highly recommend him. “So I like to review businesses because people need to know who they can go to and really understand experiences both good and bad! I like Firestone but they tend to have some not so good workers and some extremely good workers. Depending on what store or manager you get. The store I went to this time in Springfield il on Wabash Ave was the Bomb! They really got my car in and out told me what it needed even without an appointment which I just happened and lucked up on.. grateful! Because my friend was getting their car worked on and they asked about mine. Some businesses really do extreme care business and go above and beyond for customers care service because they are in business for business. I don't know why other people are in business for ... because without people customers you have no business...”

“I called to get a quote for work on my 1995 Thunderbird. I was told right upfront that, they didn't work on older car's however, The gentleman did give me the number to a mechanic who does work on my year.
This is the kind of customer service that will get my business when I do need them.
