This is a great place for guitars! They have acoustic, electric, used and new and a great variety of brands and price points from learner guitars to professional. They also have all the accoutrements that you need for your guitar - cases, tuners, strings, amps, etc. I had a great customer service experience - Lucas was friendly, knowledgeable and made me feel welcomed and want to return.

I know I'm biased, but with FOUR locations in IL, this IS the place to find a piano, keyboard, organ, accessories, etc for EVERY player at every level from beginner to professional, or even if you just love music! Btw, ask for me & make an appointment...?

I'm not sure why paying customers are treated so poorly. When there was an issue with the card reader, an employee took the card from my daughter's hand and seemed really aggravated to have to intervene. I also notice that younger people are treated differently, even though they are spending the same currency as other patrons. I really hope the employees are able to be friendlier to their paying customers. We won't be back.

Everyone at Piano Network of Springfield is very knowledgable. They are also courteous, and the piano technicians are excellent. Both of the technicians I have had were very prompt and thorough. I would recommend either, based on my experience. Mike Campbell is about my age, so there were many musical fondnesses to share. It was great getting to know him. He is a wonderful person. He also tuned my brother's piano at the Lawford Theatre in Havana. .

I am giving two stars because Matt Waldhoff took the time to speak with us in the store. Other than that, I'm not impressed. We were going to consign an expensive Clavinova with them. Upon looking at the contract emailed to us they wanted 40% of the price it sold for, which was satisfactory with us. What was not satisfactory was even thought they only charged $100 to pick-up the clavinova it appeared from the contract they wanted $100 to deliver it to the new owners. Also, they would take no responsibility for any damage that may occur to the unit while it was in their hands. As we had questions regarding that contract we contacted Matt Waldhoff two times via email, asking him to clarify certain aspects of the contract. He never responded back so I assumed they did not want our business. I ended up selling the clavinova on my own and kept the 40% they would otherwise have received. It is inexcusable to not return emails to clarify a contract and I can only assume he took offense that we had questions regarding a contract where they took the profit, but absolutely no responsibility for damage.

The staff moved into the old Leath Furniture building next door and opened up Capital City Music - it looks awesome in there!
