I took several items to Erin and Wendy to fix up so I can comfortably wear tall people clothes on my funsize frame. They worked wonders and I have received so many compliments on my outfits! Can't wait to be back.

Erin and her mother saved my big day! Me and my husband decided to elope in March. I had began looking for someone to alter my dress in late January/ early February after having it imported from the UK. I was turned away by another seamstress because she didn’t want to touch the single string of beadwork along the top of the dress and with prom season being in the mix of things, I feared nobody would have the time.Erin welcomed me with open arms and reassured me it was a simple fix, and they even steamed it for me! Everything was perfect for my big day thanks to her fixing my dress in time. Support small businesses like theirs, you won’t be disappointed!

I went here a few months back to get a bridesmaid dress hemmed for my best friends wedding. Erin and her mother did an amazing job! So kind, friendly, and welcoming. First appointment was quick and easy. The dress was ready in no time and they did a phenomenal. It was done perfectly, and for a short, girl it’s hard to come by. Would highly recommend!

I got my wedding dress alterations done at SBW.Erin is an absolute artist at what she does! She was so nice and a breeze to work with. Her pricing is very reasonable and she did a wonderful job altering my dress!!I would bring any piece in needing altered with no hesitations!Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart, for doing what you do!! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!Erin was a DREAM to work with! She is so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I got my wedding dress altered and had my mom's veil redesigned for a very affordable price. Can not speak highly enough about my experience here!

When I say these women are amazing I mean it. Absolutely amazing. I literally can not say any more. Another seamstress in town basically held my wedding dress hostage stating she had worked on it already and it was going to be close to 1000$ for a hem. This other seamstress had my dress for over a month and originally quoted me 300$ to tell me a week before my wedding that it was going to be 1000$. Turned out they hadn’t even touched the dress yet and were trying to screw me out of any other option but to pay them the thousand or not have my dress. I called these wonderful ladies and they literally saved me. I went and got my dress back from the other place and took it to them. I can’t thank them enough for their amazing customer service and amazing work that is obvious by countless previous reviews. Thank you so so so much Erin!

I am terribly overdue to give these ladies my highest recommendation. They altered my wedding dress and did a fantastic job. The dress was expensive and beaded, so not an easy job. I was SO pleased with the outcome, and the customer service in general. Plus, it’s fun to shop their lovely, unique boutique while you’re there.

Wendy is a master of her craft. She did alterations for two bridesmaids dresses for me and did so perfectly. Wendy is good company and great conversation and the appointments and fittings are efficient and pleasant. On both occasions I was able to find GORGEOUS fair trade jewelry to go with my gowns that I am still complimented on to this day! It was especially easy to bond with Wendy since we share Rockford roots. Although I’m no longer in the area, I still find myself recommending her services to others. Thank you Wendy!
