“My 93 year old father broke the rope on his Stihl chainsaw. I called farm and home supply repair center and spoke with Brian. After explaining my father, had people helping him for only two days, Brian encouraged me to bring it in right away. He said he would take care of it while I waited. HE DID! You could not have been treated any better anywhere. Brian I will forever be in your debt. It's such a blessing when you come accross others that use their talents with a smile and urgency when you really need it. Thank you again Brian.”
“Yesterday 8/27/2022, my friend and I spent hours in Springfield trying to find a professional outfit. We struck out at many stores, but found the perfect outfit at Loft. The store was quite busy and your employee Rylan was running around helping everyone, checking back in with guests, and putting things away. She was incredibly friendly and was wonderful at her job! She wasn’t the only employee in the store, but she seemed to be doing more than her share. Thanks for a great experience.”
“I'm from out of town and on a solo Journey far away from home, something of the ones you've read in books. I ended up developing a relationship with God within weeks of being here and ended up walking by the store that happens to be under construction without a sign and saw the beautiful clothing inside and was instantly drawn to it. Inside I met Terry and he helped me purchase my very first tie and belt so I could look and feel beautiful not just for myself but for the ones that love me. “I went in to look for a comfortable boot for work and within 15 minutes I had a pair that fit perfectly and were very comfortable. The guy that helped me did the measurements on my feet and only showed me the boots that fit the work load that I described to him. I will definitely be back in the future for all my business.”
“If I walk into a store and tell the sales clerk I just want to look around, I just want to look around. Usually my ugly, mean mug gets left alone. Yet, each time I have gone into CHAMPS in the mall, just wanting to look around (& most likely price match), I told them I was just looking, and found myself getting into a pleasant conversation about nothing in particular and walk out after buying SOMETHING. I believe the gentleman I spoke to on my last visit was the Manager, and he was a great guy. A customer service pro, and dealing with his staff on more than a couple of occasions, he is training them well. I hope the store is doing well & his regional manager appreciates the work they all do. (I am NOT a friend/relative of anyone at the store). Just a former retail manager and would have definitely told my Regional Manager about recruiting this guy & staff. -Skip”
“There's plenty of shoes and boots and slides to choose from. I spent $100 on a pair of DeWalt steel toe boots and they are the best boots I've ever had and they're lighter and more comfortable than most other brands or types.”
“This is a great shoe store. I have been there twice and have been completely satisfied with the customer service, selection, and quality of shoes offered here. I have a leg brace so I need knowledgeable staff. The manager Jordan is fantastic. Unfortunately, the Springfield location is closing at the end of May 2024. They are having a really good sale right now so it's a great time to get some quality shoes and quality customer service. I see the mixed reviews and all I can say is that I have never experienced any problems here . We moved here from Orange County CA last year and I've been a Yelper for years, I don't give rave reviews lightly. I am really enjoying Springfield IL.”
