Very shady and dishonest business! Purchased a truck directly from the Owner Scooter and he noted on my contract that he would replace parts with my purchase. After purchasing the vehicle directly from the Owner I reached out to the Owner every couple months to get the replacements he promised and the Owner never came through and honored his word nor contract. The Owner over promised and under delivered to get a sale! Purchase from a more trustworthy business!

I purchased a 2016 Hyundai Elantra from this business on May 13th, 2023 with a limited warranty. On May 24th, 2023, the vehicle presented with an inability to shift correctly. On May 25th, I brought the vehicle to the dealership, per the instructions of the warranty. From that date, I was assured the issue should be resolved within "about a week and a half". Since that time, the dealership has made zero attempts to update me about the status of the vehicles repair. The only details that have been given to me are when contact is initiated by me, and then, it is unreliable information. During the course of this issue, the dealership told me that the first transmission that they used to replace the faulty transmission was "worse than the original one." Since this time, they have made no attempt to provide any updates to the situation, even when I have called or visited the facility. To date, no progress has been made with the vehicle, as on July 19th, 2023, the dealership representative stated that "the second transmission is bad too." This issue has been on-going for 8 weeks, and there has been no progress, no attempt to resolve the issue, and no change in behaviors. I am obligated to continue to make payments on a vehicle that I do not have, that is not being repaired, and that I do not have a reasonable replacement for. Having worked in both the sales industry and basic retail industry, I understand that some things are outside the control of a single entity or its representatives, but what is not outside this business's control are it and its representatives' behaviors. To fail to communicate and to fail to follow through with basic customer service is counter-productive to a business that plans to have longevity and loyal customers. I, then, must assume that they have no plans to be in business long or have a loyal customer base, and if that is the case, I suppose my only issue is that they are willing to be sub-par personally and to have no integrity themselves. I express caution to those who plan to make significant financial decisions involving those affiliated with this business, and I urge others to use caution in affiliating themselves and their personal brand with it.

Dove on the lot expecting to leave empty-handed, but Virgil was awesome, showed me a car that would check all my boxes and a deal was made! Recommend Scooter's and the sales crew to help you find a vehicle that works for you! They may be a little lot but they have quality cars!!

Mechanic is knowledgeable, does repairs properly. Business beats any other labor prices in town. They don’t take advantage of their customers and will sell you a good running car at a decent price. Highly recommend Scooters Auto Sales.
