Springfield, IL - What a horrible experience dealing with this grooming facility. We scheduled an appointment two months in advance and sent a deposit to secure the appointment. On the day of the appointment we received a phone call indicating they were canceling the appointment and didn't have a groomer to fulfill the appointment slot. They stated "We're a small business. You've got to understand." I do understand how important it is to support small businesses but I wish they could understand we waited two months for the appointment and sent a deposit that they received and cashed. There is an obligation to fulfill the agreement of providing services. They didn't have any appointments available to accommodate my work schedule within the next several weeks so I requested they return my deposit. On the phone the groomer was abrupt, short tempered and unsympathetic that we'd waited an significant amount of time (2 months) for the appointment and simply didn't care that they couldn't fulfill their commitments. Response to Business Owner Post Ian, actually you gave me one appointment option for the following week and because I was not home at the time I received your call, I asked if I could go home to get my calendar book to see if the date conflicted with my work schedule and call you back. You agreed and I drove home immediately and called you back in less than 30 minutes and you gave away the 'one' appointment slot you 'created' for me. The other appointment you gave me an option to conflicted with my work schedule due to a less than 24 hour notice and I could not accept the slot. Ian, the "We couldn't care less attitude you displayed on the phone interaction prompted the negative Yelp review." As I mentioned on the phone the original appointment had been scheduled for two months and the deposit had been made in advance. Therefore, I was disappointed in the cancellation and the brush off I received from you. I did find another groomer and was able to schedule an appointment within a few days. Again, I recommend a pass on this business.

We’ve been taking our Yorkie and Terrier here for years. We love the service and care they give our little ones. If you have small dogs then I recommend this place above all others.

My little four-legged friend just got back from her day at the spa! She absolutely loves Pawsitivity Dog Grooming! Jessica, Ian, and Mary are just the best! They tend to all my little dog's needs! We just appreciate them so much! This is a place that really loves what they do and they love dogs! And I want to give a shout out to my good friends there at the shop Ms. Star and Ms. Sven!! I always look forward to seeing the two girls and getting dog kisses! So, if you're looking for a fantastic groomer, give these people a try! You will not be disappointed! Thanks much guys! See you next month!

I am always more than pleased with my experience at Pawsitivity!! Benji absolutely loves his groomer and she always exceeds my expectations!! This was our first visit and it was amazing! My little dog, Miss Angel Bear Paw Paw, looked so beautiful and happy when I picked her up! Jessica and Ian are both very personable and professional! I was completely at ease leaving my little friend with them! The shop is amazing and set up for our little dogs! My little dog had a “Pawsitivily Pawsitive Experience!!! We can’t wait for our next scheduled appointment! I highly recommend these folks!!! From the moment I walked into the business, I was completely aware of how special this place really is!! Today my little four-legged friend visited "Pawsitivity Dog Grooming!" she received the "Full Spa Treatment!" Jessica and Ian are both professional, detailed-oriented and very caring groomers! My little friend had a "Wonderful Experience" and she loves her new bow! We can't thank you both enough for the "Tender and Loving Care that Miss Angel Bear Paw Paw" received today! I have been taking my dog, Jax, to Pawsitivity for a few years now. They have always completed his grooming at the time they tell me. He isn’t nervous to go in, he’s actually excited. The staff is so friendly and professional and it’s genuine. Above all of this though, their attention to the dogs overall health is impressive. Jaxy is starting to get a little older. The staff at Pawsitivity mentions concerns and observations they have about him at the time of pick up. I always appreciate their knowledge and helpful suggestions. They are by far, the best.
