If you have the bank for high end, one of a kind home decor and furniture, get your booty in here and shop! If I won the lottery, I would be cleaning this place out. It has a great mix of styles and time periods, antiques mixed with new items. Most price tags start in the 3 digits and go up to the very high 5 digits. I had an awesome time just looking as there are several very large rooms to go through. The entry door faces Monroe St, that wasn't clear on Google maps and there are several entries to that building.

The dim lights in this building help protect you from seeing outrageous prices on all the products. Cool, unique pieces but you can only afford them if you want to take out a $40,000 loan.

I was almost overwhelmed when I first entered the shop as they have so much to offer! Once I walked around a bit, I could see that everything is arranged in inviting "snap shots" and groupings so that I could get an idea of how each piece might fit into my home. New, antique, large furniture, small household/kitchen accessories, artsy, whimsical, Merchant House has treasures galore!

I bought the coolest walnut chair that fits perfectly in our home. Great people and the place is filled with such an eclectic selection there's sure to be something for every style. Merchant House is a winner!

This place is awesome. Its an old Cadillac dealership with a very unique decor. U.S.antiques plus some European things. Owner is very nice. Worth the stop.
