Should be zero stars to reflect the zero times anyone from the company called me back after inquiring about installing 5 security cameras on my residential property. Over three weeks and nothing. I guess they are comfortable with their existing customer base and do not wish to acquire any new ones. Wish granted as I am going straight to your competition.

This company also owns property they are complete slum lords , left a dishwasher and paint inside my daughters room took her room door off because the wood frame was old and splitting never fixed it we were taking showers in the dark for 4 and half months we a bad sewage problem from the previous tenants all the gutters fell off they never fixed the basement flooded and damaged a lot of my party planning inventory Harris see me about rent and never went a month without being paid never seen or spoke to the landlord ever I’m not sure if he felt like he was to good to speak to me or whatever never replaced the doorbell and so much more no one should ever rent from these people ever I am taking them to court since they refuse to pay my deposit back

I called for serving a bad alarm in our building, and I was told a ticket is generated for service. Two days later, I called again and learned that nothing is scheduled. I asked for management office number, but was told they can't give to me. Very frustrated because this is not the first time.

I give this business a 0/10. I wouldn't recommend service here or seeking employment from them. Worst family owned business !! Tracy the sales representative has the absolute worst attitude and is very unprofessional with the way he talks and speaks. They always seem like they're unhappy and mad whenever I've called them. I got the upmost respect from Liz the technician and Dawn the account manager they are the reason George Alarm isn't all bad!

As a Residential Director of CILA homes in Illinois I need to know that I can trust the Contractors I use to put equipment into the homes that I operate. George Alarm is a company that I trust. George Alarm has installed 15 systems to date with 5 more systems upcoming for me. They have always gone above and beyond to meet my deadlines and ensure that the systems are installed correctly. There systems always meet the Fire Marshals requirements and are easy for my staff to learn. If you are looking to install a system and want individuals who will complete the job in a timely manner with a great attitude I would recommend George Alarm.

As a former employee/ alarm technician of George alarm company I would highly suggest against using this company if you want something done in a timely manner by an experienced technician as the whole team including the tech manager is inexperienced in the alarm industry, he came in with no experience because his dad is friends with the owners and fired the operations manager with 10+ years experience all this after the business he was running went out of business. Since the management change the company has done nothing but fall apart since. They will put you on the back burner and months out from a job to take care of a family friend the next day. On top of this, all the employees are under payed and not happy where there at and the owners refuse to payout more and are also refusing to pay money owed to me after leaving for a scheduled vacation day that was approved by management and the owner Doug acknowledging that they do owe me for a day of vacation but is refusing to pay the money I'm entitled to.

Love that this is a local company and owned by someone who gives back to the local community. Any time I have accidentally set the alarm off I am literally receiving a call from their monitoring service in seconds. I’ve never had any complaints with customer service or quality.

Started my career at this company back in the early 80's, the training and experience has served me well in the alarm industry, the George's were good people, I sometimes think of Don and Jeanette and how they built the company from scratch, this is a family owned and operated business, they allowed me the opportunity to ride along and make something of myself, I sometimes wonder what might have happened if I'd stayed.RespectfullyJMS

George Alarm has always been known as the oldest, most experienced, and best alarm company in Springfield IL. Their staff are all friendly, courteous, and professional. My system was professionally installed quickly with top of the line equipment and works flawlessly. Their central station staff responds quickly (in my case to self caused false alarms!) . They can also monitor anywhere you ask them to which is why we chose them for our daughter’s security needs in Chicago. If we choose to relocate anywhere in the US they will be there for us. George Alarm is simply the best home and business security company there is!
